Rudy had his 15 minutes of fame, so to speak. Now, he'll disappear into the sunset as well he should. Hillary is still the front runner. If she can manage to hold on to her lead, she will be the next pres no matter who in the GOP gets nominated.

Does anyone even know what Thompson stands for at this point? It is a sad state when people are so desperate for a candidate that they jump on a bandwagon even when he has not yet participated in a debate, spoken on any issues or provided much detail about his campaign. Do you think those 28% who chose him in the poll knew anything about him other than he is not the other candidates who they apparently do not like?

No. Thompson is a joke and Giuliani isn't much better. Both of their platforms are so vague, they could be interpreted to mean just about anything and that's just a little too much wiggle room--even for a politician.

Fred Thompson looked very presidential in A MOVIE that I saw once. As a senator I didn't even notice him.

Remember folks, he won't have script writers and extra takes in the actual White House.

Thompson is now nearly tied with Guliani, with, McCain making advances, too. To tell you the truth, I sense McCain, in these troubled times, with his understanding of foreign policy, and, his genuine centrist views on social issues, is the man the Republicans should nominate. He would get the so called Reagan democratic vote, I firmly believe.

I lost all confidence in any polls, 29% still support Rudy? I wonder where they are doing these polling, are they polling their office?

Rudy, and Mitt are slipping they the medi is trying to sneak Thompson in there to avoid any of the lesser candidates to make progress.

Neither of them do.

I'm sorry, I just don't see what the fuss about Thompson is for.
