She has been planning to run for president before she left the White House. Why do you think she became senator of New York, a state where she had never lived? Why not Illinois or Arkansas? Because New York has a large Democratic donor base, access to national news networks, and widely supported her husband. She has done nothing as a senator to be controversial and stayed away from anything that could make her take a stand. Why do you think Bill never campaigned heavily for Kerry? He wanted him to lose so Hillary could run in 2008.
She said that the war was absolutely the right thing to do and if she was president she would have did what Bush did. Now she says that if she was president we would have never went to war. She will say whatever is popular at the time to get support.

Her constituency in up-state NY say that she is doing good work as their senator.
They never really get around to saying what exactly that is.
She promised 200,000 new jobs to the area if elected.
There are less jobs and people are moving out.
Asked about her jobs failure, Mrs. Clinton told the Syracuse Post-Standard: "I didn't have the benefit of a Democratic Congress. But I think given the fact that that wasn't the environment that I'd hoped for, we've seen some progress."
Still, Mrs. Clinton said she was "cautiously optimistic" about the economic climate in upstate New York, adding: "You'll win some, you lose some, but at least we're in the fight."
In fact, New York State has actually lost 112,000 jobs since sending Mrs. Clinton to Washington, according to the Public Policy Institute in Albany.
It is one of the few areas in the country that has not benefited from economic growth. The Washington DC area, during armed forces re-alignment saw an increase of 22,000 jobs in one month while, for the same period, NY lost 11,000 jobs even with expansion at Fort Drum.
Syracuse is losing people everyday even though Chuck Schumer was able to lure Jet Blue into servicing the city.
Jet Blue is re-evaluating.
Other than that: Hillary has taken federal tax money and subsidized private farmers in Up Sate NY.
It has done nothing to alter the State's overall economy and is a nano peek at what the US will be like under her stewardship.
For Hillary, moving to New York was a replication of the Robert Kennedy political strategy and the State is merely a staging area for her presidential bid.
So the answer to your question is, NOTHING!
BTW: To be fair to Hillary...her inaction has actually been less harmful than the damage Chuck Schumer did to private education in the state.

I will not be voting for Hillary and that was really never a consideration.
But the actions of the Democrats currently in Congress are troubling to this pro-US soul.
What have any of them done except cast the US further into despair?
We need a President who can bridge the divide in some fashion. Maybe with some humor. I think we need a Pragmatic Conservative. Not a perfect person, no. None exist.
I support Fred Thompson, because I think he can reach across this broken land and make us smile again as a nation.

Well maybe the rumors that she really was the President during Bill's time are true? She has no problem saying she has more experience than Obama who has been a Senator for the same amount of time as she has or does moving from one state to another just to get elected count as Presidential experience.

I concur. Nothing. Hoodwinked the good State of New York to re-elect her, accepted campaign contributions for a job she would avoid, adapts to fake accents & flip flops at will, stayed married to Bill, is oblivious to Chinese major contributions & conflicts of interest that suggest debts to be paid in the event of success in returning to the White House, failed at earlier attempts toward healthcare reform as First Lady, hid documents regarding the Rose Law Firm scandal, first responder to Vince Foster "suicide" shot to the back of the head??? Escaped prosecution in the Whitewater episode in Arkansas... stood by as Bill continues to court and fool with dozens of other women?? The list goes on!
HUMMMM... when you think about it she makes the perfect President. For those who like the good ole boy politics of yesterday. As to change and experience that's all just a line of bull as far as I am concerned. Thank you.

Nothing, nada, zilch.
Plus, she's been way too quiet as senator...fence-ridin' so she can see which way the wind blows in 2008.
Plus, I'm sorry, but anybody that puts up with a guy that keeps cheating on them kind of scares me- I think it's purely politically motivated.
I'm dicouraged with all the candidates- we need help here in U.S. not everywhere else.

That's amazing, 23 posts and no one has anything to offer about what she has done. Not that it surprises me; I can't think of anything of note she's accomplished in 2+ terms as a Senator either.

Hilliary is just a puppet name or figure to substain by laws in connection to the presidency. The only way Clinton can get back in is to use his wives credentials.
