Forms of conflict I have seen: 1. folk w/ children thinking that they should get first dibs at time off over holidays etc b/c "day care is closed". Needless to say - the single people w/o kids get really tired of pulling all the holiday/weekend shifts b/c "day care is closed." 2. nosy co-workers who play hall monitor - and go running to the boss "b/c she came back from lunch 10 min late" or "she got here 5 min late". You know ...if they have time to monitor my comings/goings then you would think that means they don't have enough work to do.
