I remember watching the news one evening with my grandpa when I was a little girl. They were showing innocent people being slaughtered. I don't remember exactly where it was but I thought it was terrible and I asked my grandpa why didn't our president, which was Eisenhour at the time, do something about it. He said the US didn't mess with those people because it was the holy lands and religious wars weren't any of our business. Was grandpa right?

I know the military helps in situations like this....but who do I contact and what information do I need?? Any information will be greatly appreciated.

There poll indicated 80% of Americans will not watch

My landlady has told me that if my partner stays overnight she will take it as me giving her my two weeks notice to leave. She reckons our tennacny states that i cannot have someone staying over, but it does not say this at all, it says i cannot sublet or have a lodger. My partner usualy stays once a week but my landlady is now being funny about her staying. I am wondering if this is because we are a same sex couple. There are also a lot of other issues for example she withholds my mail from me and when her family are there she allows them to be very rude to me. I am looking for eleswhere to live but in the meantime I dont want to be evicted till I find somewhere. I ahve been a good tennant, always paid rent on time and kept the place clean and tidy. What can I do?

If a girl is kidnapped (either by a pedophile or by human traffickers or just some sicko)

How do you go about finding her?

I know the police will look....but I mean if a single, average person wanted to find them. How?

In the movies they go to bars, show pictures, offer money, beat people up, etc...

Does this really work?

within 12 months or less? Apparently not to some people. That's the bottomline isn't it? That one camp believes in doing the people's will and another believes the few should and can control the many. Lets just have the republicans admit this and we can just agree to disagree and move on to other subjects.

Well , what if Hillary wins the presidency ? What are all our honorable , decorated military officers to think ? Hillary just called Petraeus a liar . Now you can mince words all you want but the military officers see this as her calling Petraeus a liar . Why ? - Simple , because Petraeus is widely respected throughout the entire military . And lest we forget , he was also respected a few months ago by the Democratic Party when they UNANIMOUSLY approved him .
General Tommy Franks(another General widely respected both in the military and even recently by the Democratic Party) said that he's appalled at what Hillary did to Petraeus . He tried to remain diplomatic , however his disgust with her was quite apparent .

How Could Anybody Or Any General Do Their Job Efficiently , If They Know That No Matter What , Their Boss Will Think They're A Liar ?

time to tell them to draw the line in the sand and only give Bush funding bills that come with a plan to get all american soldiers out of iraq within the next 12 months. Time for if Bush vetoes such funding bills to issue funds earmarked solely for the withdrawal of troops out of iraq...that way no one can lie and say they were abandoned in the battle field with no bullets---that is unless Bush chooses to abandon the soldiers in iraq with no bullets. In which case Bush will have to answer why he did not do the people's will, congress will and bring the troops home usinig the funds congress allocated, and why he allowed them to swing in the wind in Iraq with no bullets?

I am concerned that the police report won't show items that I found to be missing after I made the initial report. I called them but keep getting different info from different ppl. I have to take off work to pick this up and want to know if I should not leave until the report shows all items. I know I should just call them but the lady is so rude, she makes me feel like I'm bothering her.

This happened on yesterday. Legal and illegal immigrants alike say they are sick of the treatment they receive here.

I suggest they go back to where they came from, come back LEGALLY, and maybe they will be treated better.

What say you?

I would like to get your view on this:

Last week I was pulled over for speeding, 65 in a 55..was I guilty..YES!

The officer came up on my car and asked if I know I was speeding I said yes I was...guilty! He went back to his car and wrote his ticket. He came back to my car and had me sign the ticket..I did. Then he asked me why..oh why was I speeding on his road.. officer I am guilty...I accept the punishment ($95). He wouldn't give it up...he wanted to know why I was breaking the law...it was clear he was more interested in impressing my wife than just giving me the ticket. So he kept this up over & over...why were you speeding on MY ROAD? I finally said okay heres the truth: First it's NOT your road..it belongs to ME and everyone else that WORKS in the private sector..WE pay ALL the bills..we built this road that we allow you to use. He said it makes me sick I risk my life everyday to protect your a$$. I said let me to educate you further: Being in the Insurance industry I can

Children are trafficked globally for sexual exploitation from Russia, and are trafficked internally generally from rural to urban areas. There were reports of kidnapped or purchased children being trafficked for sexual exploitation, child pornography, or harvesting of body parts. There are confirmed cases of sex trafficking of children and child sex tourism in Russia, a major producer and distributor of child pornography over the internet.

There are reports that rebel forces in Chechnya recruit and use child soldiers. These forces also are using children to plant landmines and other explosives,

You would think that children deserved attention .
