There is a lot of competition for the Title of "Most Pathetic" but the Gang Of Pirates certainly walk away with the bottom honors.

On virtually every point that they complain about, or blame liberals for, they are in fact the worse and often the only offenders.

That is a basic precept in their propaganda campaign, blame others first so when people realize that you are the more guilty, it looks like a retort rather than observable fact.

One of the great things about the Internet is that real facts are cross referenced and easily found. And the you can even educate yourself about the propaganda tools the GOP uses in all media, and can thus become immune to propaganda no matter where is comes from.

True Conservatives usually aren't the ones blaming Democrats for the 9/11 terrorist attacks. It's mostly the NeoConservatives.

Clinton was too busy defending America from domestic right wing terrorist attacks.

Bush had plenty of time, but was too busy spending the national economic surplus - which made the economic devastation even worse than it would have been if there was still a surplus. What better time to hit America's economic infrastructure when it's a debt rather than a surplus? Al Qaeda took advantage of the situation of hitting us while a mentally challenged, spend-thrifty President was in command.

Point blank, it happened on Bush's watch.
Not Clinton's.

Actually yes. I find it funny when people claim Jewish people planned 9/11.

But as for all this. Look at some of the answers you got. That should show you how divided of a nation we are. Always bickering over a few words, being politically correct, or in ANY politicians case: the blame game.

It is satire for when the liberals blame Bush being behind 9/11. Now get over it and move on.

Being that most just do it in response to all the hate America liberals who blame 9/11 on Bush, I say it doesnt bother me. On the other hand it can be correctly noted that Osama did in fact state that Bill Clintons hasty withdrawal from Somalia (personally I blame Bob Dole for his role too) and lack of serious response to the numerous attacks of the 1990s as well as the forced withdrawal from Vietnam by radical left wing activists as the reasons he knew he could attack America and in fact defeat America, I suppose one could infer that because of the predominant liberal mindset OBL was emboldened to attack at will. That naive notion that if we did not respond to such attacks that they would cease is silly. Another truth is that the things that the Islamists hate about western culture are things promoted by the left such as a decadent, moral relativist society. ( not that I want to live in an Islamist society by any means).
So there is some truth to the assertion. It isnt claiming liberals are evil (like the libs accuse cons of being) just that their naive view of the world blurs them to reality and has made the US an easy target for OBL- again, he said it, not me

Too bad that President Bush didn't do as well as Clinton, in finding and prosecuting the real terrorists

President Clinton took the oath of office January 20, 1993. February, 26 - barely a month later - terrorists detonated more than 1,000 pounds of explosives under the World Trade Center, killing six and injuring about a thousand people. Bill Clinton and the Democrats never dreamed of trying to blame the outgoing George Herbert Walker Bush Administration. They just began working to keep us safe from terrorism.

As reported by the "debunking" website, snopes2.com: Within a year, law enforcement officials hunted down four of the "blind cleric" Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman's disciples, then prosecuted and convicted them for the bombing and sentenced them to 240 years in prison in March 1994. Officials captured the prime suspect Ramzi Ahmed Yousef in 1995. A court convicted him in November 1997 and sentenced him to 240 years in prison as well. An additional suspect fled.

"In August 1998, President Clinton ordered missile strikes against targets in Afghanistan in an effort to hit Osama bin Laden, who had been linked to the embassy bombings in Africa (and was later connected to the attack on the USS Cole). The missiles reportedly missed bin Laden by a few hours, and Clinton was widely criticized by many who claimed he had ordered the strikes primarily to draw attention away from the Monica Lewinsky scandal. As John F. Harris wrote in The Washington Post:

Wait, my head is still spinning.
We have had Republicans as President for almost two thirds of the last forty years, yet Democrats get blamed for everything.
We have had a Democratic Congressional majority of one for the last eight months, but its all their fault.
Truly, what ever happened to personal responsibility?

If we want to address the root causes for the muslim hatred of western culture we must look at what it is we do that ticks them off. Is it our oil addiction? No we buy from them and make them rich, they sell willingly to the highest bidder. Is it our support of Isreal, only in how that effects the Palestinians, then again outside of Jordan, muslim countries do not seem inclined to take in Palestinian refugees, or give much else but lip service to their cause. So I am left with only the more liberal aspects of our culture as a focus. Traditional cultures tend to be male dominated, this is certainly true of muslim states where women suffer a second class status. Head covering, denial of education, denial of work outside the home, denial of abortion rights, the right to vote. In the more traditional states, female genital mutilation, forced marraige, head to toe body covering, punishment for dancing, laughing, singing. All of these things contrary to what liberals seek to promote not just in the west but in the world using NGOs and the UN. Muslims countries have no gay rights, another liberal cause. Tradtional muslims countries practice prohibition regarding alcohol and drugs, in direct contradiction to the anything goes liberal attitude present today. Pornography is not produced in muslim nations, yet fiercly defended by the worlds liberals. There are other points as well. So I am not so sure if recognizing the root causes for muslim hatred of the west is pathetic, or if when confronted with the obvious facts of them liberals simply shrug them off as conservitive parinoia. It is not about blame, but a recognition of what is. That is not to say that I would change our culture to accomidate the islamic bigots, but I find it curious that conservitives are will to fight to maintain a liberal western culture, and liberals are will to give up what they claim to hold dear just to pretend there can ever be common ground with those who would kill us for what they believe is blasphemy.

I like it when I see " Do you think Liberals " add something bad here like unpatriotic in questions on YA and then I try looking at the posters profile and its all private.

Propaganda works for the media and it has spread to YA, both sides use it, just for some cons thats all they do.
