On the surface, per Fed 07 Budget, the HUD gets $33.6 B vs. NASA gets $16.3B. Who knows in reality if NASA has any other sources of funding? Issuing some sort of bond to
support their spending....The real issue is what is most important priority: To make a better world on Earth, or To try to land on Mars, etc.? I think that we should put our priority on Earth first. We have so many areas that our government can improve our citizen's life... affordable housing, medical care system, affordable education system, millions of senior
citizens care..... We can not be the police of the whole world.
Take care of ourselves should be our priority.
We need special agency to monitor those spending! These
are in "B"illions. Do we all want our children owe a couple of
hundred thousands dollars debt? On the other hand, other country
do no play the role of worldwide "911" police. They do not have this kind of large expenditures/debts. In 10 to 20 years, the U.S. will not be the leader of the World financially.

by using going to HUD, or NASA web content you in all possibility can get an expected funds quantity for each business enterprise. actual, their investment components are actually not constrained to: from the federal government's working funds. they might concern bonds of a few type to assist their expenses. might desire to be the conventional criminal duty bond fund of the federal government, state governments would be further to their working money. in spite of the fact that we do right it somewhat is largely a guesstimate! Which business enterprise gets extra funds isn't that significant. the main mandatory issues are what they did with those tax payer's monies... Are those monies spent properly for some great reward of our accepted public?! or, purely reaping rewards specific privileged shape/protection constructors, or, purely misused, mismanaged, or wasted. we would desire to have extra effective self reliant institute computer screen their initiatives!

It's certainly not enough. NASA basically gets leftovers from the defense budget. Hopefully, bush will leave office before he totally screws up our space program by working on trying to get a couple of guys to Mars to plant a flag, instead of using a multitude of robotic craft to further our knowledge of our solar system.
