Just saw a question asking if I was going to support the 9/15/07 rally to impeach Bush. Are these people that stupid AND ignorant?

Even if I would like to see Bush impeached I do know that a rally isn't going to do anything. Democrats are NEVER going to impeach a Bush --Unless some relation of his gets eleted to President and they impeach that one.

1. Democrats don't have the votes necessary to impeach and oust Bush from the Presidency. Republicans were stupid to try and oust Clinton they didn't have the votes.

2. There isn't anything Bush has done that Democrats big guns haven't backed at one time or another.

3. If they even tried they would lose the House and Senate and possibly eliminate any chance they have for gaining the White House.

After all these are the same neocons (eg: Dick Cheney, George W. Bush, Bill Kristol, Brit Hume, Fred Barnes, Rush Limbaugh, Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, etc.) who proclaimed that US soldiers would be greeted as liberators, Saddam had WMDs, and that it would be a "cakewalk" to change the Iraqi government into a democracy.

Since the neocons got all of that wrong in regards to the invasion, why should we listen to their doom and gloom assessments on what will happen if we leave?

How racist is it to enslave illegals for profit? By not closing the borders republicans can have all the slave labor they want. How convenient.

Don't forget the terrorist that can freely enter the country.

thank Bush for not closing the borders.

We want our Children back in the homes in America. No more experimenting on Children taken from American families, done under covering of Children and Family Services.Which is Socialist Government, hidden secrects of worst kind, being done. Bring crime into open Courts, for people to be judged by their peers. The Media in America is protecting the bad guys, making everything look like it is the parents. This is no different than what Hitler did. Only the Media did not get pictures here in US, because the names of children are removed and they were given numbers, at their deaths they are cremated and burried in unmarked graves. People relate to names not numbers. Heaven forbid if they had to find a child, because they are sold, 1/2 of the teen prostitutes are from foster care. Government saying our little boys and girls. Are we looking directly into the eyes of Satan, himself. On Election Day, we will not forget. More information on my 360 blog, open to public. Names of Drugs and Co,s .

Well walk you down the steet in front of the troops. If a roadside bomb goes off, our servicemen and women will be behind the blast and safe. Then you might be useful. If you survive a tour of duty, you can apply for citizenship in America. Some suggestions for starting wages would also be appreciated. Enjoy

Every liberal who has had an abortion feels compelled to defend abortion for all women; every Air America listener who can’t stand the USA feels the need to defend Saddam ; and every Democrat who voted for Bill Clinton feels the need to defend duplicity, adultery, lying about adultery, sexual harassment, rape, perjury, draft dodging, obstruction of justice, kicking the can of global Islamo-fascism down the road for eight years and so on!

i didn't pick the best answer on purpose many times to see how they vote. the result was not surprising to me. the fact is that yahoo community does not represent the real population! many people still can't afford a computer and an internet. the working poor strugglingand one pay check away from homelessness! people who are doing o.k or better tend to be more conservative since they are afraid of change, they are afraid that any change may cause them to loose their materials ie; refrigrator with butter warmer! your input please

I am a highschool student and I want to participate at a movie contest and will probably use sountracks from world-wide-known singers and composers. Will I need any copyrights for that, considering the fact that it is a non-profit activity (I will not be selling the film, or something like that) (ofcourse, the contest involves money :D ) ??? Or is it enough to mention the singer, composer, album and others at the end of the movie?

I was hanging w/my little cuz in parking lot of supermarket after buying soda. He was asking me advice about his1st girlfrnd Police DT and 3 other pulled us out of car and searched us. I went a bit haywire when he asked me if I had weapons and I said no but he started grabbing my groin area. I laughed+said I had nothing to hide but wanted know if he was going to search me not ask a question and start poking around my crotch. They wanted search car+I ask why. DT said he saw me reach into back+hide something. I immediately said I did no such thing. DT lied of course. They clearly wanted search for narcotics. My cuz does dress with the tilted cap, baggy jeans, etc. I suppose I looked like an older guy (12 yrs apart) scoring some drugs or casing. But would we do it in supermarket parking lot and walk around first then talk in car for 30min? Do u think I should hav fought cops? I figure they really believed drugs there+would make up story to get search warrant while we spend night in jail

yesterday, jube, who responded to my question about the constitution says that the ammendments i cited have not been taken away or restricted.
any law which opposes the constitution is a violation of ammendment 14.take the 2nd ammendment for example.clearly states that the right to bear arms shall not be infringed.doesnt say infringe those rights if a man has no license, doesnt restrict the type of weapons you can have.
furthermore the police are constantly arresting people for free sppech ,under the guise of disorderly conduct or noise.
where in the constitution does it say that you have to keep your voice low?
it says this right, and all rights, shall not be abridged.you can have your opinions jube, but im the wrong person to argue the cosntitution with.
furthermore, all citizens have the right to citizens arrest and police are not immune to such arrest.you may wanna check your facts before making stupid statements.

I'm referring to the recent story about General Rick Lynch:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070824/ap_on_go_ca_st_pe/us_iraq

I did not and do not approve of our Idiot King's bogus "war" in Iraq, but the fact is that we *are* there (and EVERY politician who voted for it should be IMPEACHED!), and it seems to me that, even though I'd like our troops withdrawn, I only know what I read in the media.

Doesn't it seem more foolhardy to continue politicizing this, rather that let the people who actually know the "business" decide what's best for their own command?

Just wondering what others think.
