Every liberal who has had an abortion feels compelled to defend abortion for all women; every Air America listener who can’t stand the USA feels the need to defend Saddam ; and every Democrat who voted for Bill Clinton feels the need to defend duplicity, adultery, lying about adultery, sexual harassment, rape, perjury, draft dodging, obstruction of justice, kicking the can of global Islamo-fascism down the road for eight years and so on!

It is quite simple.

Libs worship at the altar of abortion. Any platform, person, or discussion that detracts from abortion is anathema. They accepted Bill Clinton's evil because he worshipped at their altar. They degrade the war effort because those who support the war effort mostly do not worship at their altar.

Again...the only folks in my personal circles that have had abortions are today all of them Born Again Christians. They are "saved" and living a good Christian life. Perhaps the trauma of abortion brought them to seek salvation. I don't know...but let's stop pretending that its only liberals having abortions. That's just flat not the truth.

I would never defend Saddam...but as a pragmatist I would suggest that having Saddam was better for American Interests because he always liked to hand it to those Iranian whack jobs. So I would have left him in charge, cause he knew how to run that screwed up country.

Bill Clinton...I would never defend adultery... I would simply say that it's not my business nor the country's business. And frankly Bill probably wasn't getting anything from Hillary so...I can forgive him...how about you?

Lying...well c'mon Scooter lies and conservatives give him a pass...you conservatives have no leg to stand on when it comes to pointing fingers at liars.

Draft dodging...please...Bush was AWOL, Cheney was in deferment land and honestly Clinton never dodged the draft. It's not like he was drafted and then went to Canada. No he simply took advantage of the deferments the same way Cheney did. And frankly the way any sane person would do, when your country prosecutes a war that has nothing to do with national security.

Sexual harrassment...I suggest you talk to Bill O'Riley about that.

Obstruction of justice....let me just say see Executive Priviledge.

Islamo-Fascism....that stuff has been around since Charles Martel and El Cid threw back the first Muslim excursions into the West. It's nothing new. And there are better ways to deal with these people and invading their countries ain't one of them.

We don't hate America...we just love just different things about it.

I'm a liberal and I don't support all of what you said.

I support the right of the woman to choose what she will do with her body. I hate the violent act of abortion but I support a woman's basic right to choice.

I don't defend Sadaam Hussein I find that he was a bully. But you have to admit the country was more stable with him around then without. What is happening in Iraq would have happened even if the Shites had been able to get rid of him. Blood begets blood.

I voted for Bill Clinton and I think that he was stupid to fool around on his wife. As to duplicity lying and draft dodging. Where was George Bush when he missed those Guard drills in Alabama? Or how about one of the Vice Presidents Close aides being indited and convicted of of Obstruction of Justice and lying to a grand jury. The special Consul did for Libby what Newt couldn't do to Bill Clinton... got a conviction.

As for Islamo Fascism that is a word made up by pundits in Washington to describe what ,they say, we are fighting in this War on Terrorism that the King George has forgotten all about.

Just take a chill pill and calm down I think that your letting Rush do your thinking for you.

It's sad that you have to set up your arguments in such broad strokes.

As far as abortion, that should be up to the woman to decide. Let them then work that out with their God at that time. Legislating morality in this case only causes more pain. Why the defense of that choice upsets you so much is unclear but the problem lies with you.

I listen to Air America on occasion. I also listen to the EIB radio network. Currently, I'm taking in the Jim Rome show because I'm just well rounded. While I know Saddam is a murderer, he did serve America's needs as being the only secular leader in the region. Toppling him without a sound plan to replace him was at best short sighted.

As far as Bill Clinton cheating, I'm not married to him. The only person who should be taking Bill to the woodshed over this is Hilary and if she's not, that's her marriage.

In the future, try not to paint your arguments in such broad strokes. It only makes you look unprepared.

Liberals always defend the indefensible because they have no coherent philosophy. They just jump, or flitter, from one ill-conceived "feel good" idea to the next.

Part of the Liberal's malady may be a leftover from the Carter Administration days when things looked pretty grim for the United States. Most indications showed that the USSR was outpacing the U.S. Ominiously and insidiously, the concept of "moral equivalency" kept popping up everywhere, and I got the uneasy feeling our government was preparing us for that fateful day when democratic governments were so outmassed by Communist and Socialist ones (remember, Europe was decidedly Socialist back then!), that we'd have to surrender or eventually be overrun.

This nutty concept of moral equivalency is why Hollywood stars love to defend dictators. They pay no attention to the lack of freedom, but see only the "free" medical care and schooling. The Hollywood crowd are so impressed that people have their minimal needs taken care of that they totally excuse the horrible social rights violations that those goverments engage in. That's their "moral equivalency".

Liberal idiocy is life-threatening. Too bad it's directed at the wrong people.

I know this will be hard for you to understand because you are a right-wing totalitarian , so I'll try to explain it very simply...Liberals defend the rights of American citizens that are offered to us through the Constitution of the United States of America...I know you cons think that a legal medical procedure like abortion is a mortal sin but it is a right given to us by the Constitution of the United States of America...I think it's really funny that when radical rightys like yourself, run out of intelligent banter, that you start to claim that Liberals defend Saddam Hussein. Show me one piece of evidence that a Liberal has ever stood up for the rights of Saddam Hussein. But you know that you can't, because it's another conservative fabrication. And you right-wingers LOVE to fabricate - don't you? And for the last time -BILL CLINTON SAVED THIS COUNTRY...AMERICA WAS AT IT'S HIGHEST LEVEL OF PROSPERITY DURING THE CLINTON ADMINISTRATION... I know it's hard to understand but it's the truth...You know what the truth is right? Like the truth about Bush being a draft dodger, his military records being mysteriously burned, his connections to the Bin Laden family, his reasons to invade and occupy Iraq, the real reasons that the WTC fell, the search for WMD's, the multi-million dollar embassy that is being built in Iraq in the name of Democracy, etc...Get the picture? Your side is losing and you're pissed...

ok, coming from somebody who isn't a Democrat (that must be me) i will answer a number of your rates. i do no longer shield Saddam. What he did became heinous. in spite of the indisputable fact that once you prefer to do away with the only SECULAR (non-muslim) chief in a area the place you're combating THEOCRATIC (muslim) government FUNDED terrorists it form of feels a splash ridiculous, fantastically once you have the prospect to truthfully end a matching genocidal attack interior the Darfur area, the place the Sudanese management could even have extra to do with international terror and additionally you do no longer something. For that rely, Turkish prisons are mythical for his or her torture, and yet, they are our best chum. At best, the coolest judgment is inconsistent. At worst the coolest judgment isn't even there. as far as no rely if invoice Clinton have been given the BJ, did no longer get the BJ, diddled his staffer with a Macanudo, frankly, it did no longer do plenty to impact my existence: the only individual in the international who mandatory to take invoice to the woodshed in this became Hillary Clinton or Chelsey Clinton by using fact they had to handle the crap familiar. he's not the 1st President to apply the oval place of work for that and he probable heavily isn't the final. Threatening impeachment for that became borderline lunacy. you already know, if there became sufficient data to tutor rape, do no longer you think of He could have been in penitentiary now. there have been an prolonged time and not in basic terms like the pedophile clergymen, all of us understand all the gamers and information. what's there to shield? Whitewater = undesirable agency deal. He lost money. recover from it. wish that clears it up for you...

I'm a Liberal who has had "ZERO" abortions. I only defend the abortion for women WHO WANT THEM, not all women.

Let's see...never listened to Air America, love America and served in her Air Force, and can only defend Saddam when comparing his Iraq to current Iraq from an outsider's POV, such as...your's, too.

I did vote for Clinton...twice. No regrets. I actually feel no need to defend the duplicious hype and exaggeration used to justify an invasion of Iraq.

Rudy and Newt and Congressman Vitter and UnderSecretary of State Randall Tobias will have to defend their own adulterous acts as I'll have no part.

(See Above)

Sexual Harassment? Like maybe, popping Page-boys in their barely legal, but politically awestuck "out-passages"?

(See Above)

SCOOOTTTTTEEEEERRRRRRR.....nuff said

Oh, HELL, NAW...I know you DI -EN !!!!!! (lol) TexasANG, ..yeah, riiiiiight-O............(LOL)

See Scooter, See Plames, See Bin Laden (you can't see him, not in Iraq)

224 YEARS OF MIDDLE EASTERN TERROR-FREE AMERICA.

CASE CLOSED!

Wow. I'm impressed. You've talked to every liberal who's had an abortion, every Air America listener who can't stand the U.S.A., and every Democrat who voted for Bill Clinton. Or are you just trying to make an argument based on absolutely no facts or logic?

yes this does happen, but not every liberal feels that way,
there are also problems with conservatives, but not all conservatives feel the same either. as too why many liberals do the things you suggest, its probably because they want to help people so badly, that good judgement goes out the window, the path to hell is paved with the best intentions as they say

If you think that Liberals are the recipients of more than 50% of abortions, you are sadly mistaken. Republicans get them TOO..... and I don't defend abortion, I am against it. Many liberals are.

and by the way, no one in the history of mankind has been more defended than for his actioins and inactions than George W. Bush. The sooner you wake up to the fact that there are reasons for that other than people are simply "Bush haters", the sooner you will have a grasp of what has happened the last six and a half years. By the way, I don't defend Clinton for his mistakes. I WILL defend him against lies told about him, just as I would defend you about lies told about you.
