Some of you people are pathetic. People can't help who they fall in love with. And why do you always have to assume they're only marrying American women to gain legal status. If you don't want to date illegals or Mexicans, then don't. But don't go judging anybody else!

If you are implying that all mexicans are Illegal that I think THAT IS DUMB, there are mexican born who are here legaly thare are Mexican-Americans, I for one had a finace who was a White American and he Loved me, I am hispanic-american we where to marry th only reason we didnt marry was because he went off to iraq , I dont see anything wrong with it as long as you LOVE the person illegal or legal it don't matter and for those who say it will never happen to me, NEVER say NEVER, cuz it will BITE you in the BEHIND, and I say that from past personal experiances

Well if they are illegal I figure they are going to be facing alot of unexpected problems in the future that they may not be prepared to handle. I know when you're first in love it's hard to imagine anything but pure joy and bliss.......unfortunately it rarely works that way.
What if he can't work and your stuck supporting him? What if he has a bunch of illegal relatives move on in right after you're married? What if you have a child and he's deported? What if he splits back to his home country and leaves you to support your kid alone and no means of getting child support? Or worse yet....takes your child to Mexico and disappears? I mean Americans face these issues every day and it's tough enough here without now involving illegal people with the means to gain phony documents and involving another countries rules and laws. I mean ready to have your car impounded and ready for legal fines and fees at any moment? What happens if it was just marraige for hopes of becomming legal only to be dumped later?
It happens to people all the time..........personally....I sure don't think it's a wise move. Heck I knew one really nice guy who had a wife and kids in Mexico....a wife and kids in Florida and a new wife in Wisconsin where he went for summer jobs. All different names.....all the women thought he was doing all this hard work for their family alone. Can't wait to see the fall out of that one. His Mexican wife was with his parents in Mexico.....his Florida wife was living with his legal aunt and don't know about the one in Wisconsin. None of these women have one clue about what's going on. Not something I'd care to find out down the road.........

Jennifer that is your choice but it is a choice that is not my business as much as who I marry is not any of your business.
My father was married interracially and I married someone who while Hispanic was from a different country than the US and a different culture. I am from Texas and he is from Honduras and we have been married for nearly 13 years so for those who think that immigrants marry for convenience you are wrong. Half of all marriages in the US fail are they all marriages for the heck of it or did they also think they were in love?
What an individual does in this country isn't anyone else's business as long as it is not against the law.

Here's a news bulletin for ya....not all Mexicans are illegal. Some are Mexican....wait for it....Americans and others are actually in this country.....wait for it.....legally. So, I don't think that those American girls who marry illegals are the only dumb people around here.

That's racist. Marry someone, love someone, It should be never see color or race. If you love someone you should not see based on the paper. Illegal or not, only different the peace of paper. I think about it as often as I think about Irish girls who marry American guys, or Croation guys that marry Croation girls, or Venezualen guys who marry Canadian guys, etc.
There are WAY more important things going on for me to pay attention too.
