If my pets can be covered at such low costs then why is it my family can not be covered for close to the same price .
Animals get the same level of care as people do . Lab tests x-rays, MRI's , medications injections and operations .

A friend of mine paid his vet 10,000 dollars cash to perform a heart transplant on his dog .

He went to the pound and got 3 dogs of the same breed to match up a donor and saved his beloved pet . True one of the dogs had to die but his pet was saved .

Should we have organ donation cards for animals . Are humane societies selling organs for transplant ???? I have heard rumors there is a black market on animal parts .

i have just read in a magazine 8/23/07 that the supreme court has reversed its decision on the 96 year old ban on price fixing which was an automatic violation of the sherman antitrust act . it is now legal for manufacturers and distributors to agree and set prices. in my openion this is going to effect the price of goods tremendousely.discount stores may no longer be able to buy at lower prices if the prices are fixed by the manufacturers.this will raise all retail prices. i have not heard anyone on the news talking about this has my head been a hole? how do you feel, and have heard of this.

Is this right?

1. Bush and Cheney and Co. aren't incompetent because Clinton had an affair in the White House and therefore Bush is a great president. No matter what someone says about Bush ,just mention Clinton and his affair. That will end the argument, since Clinton's affair has everything to do with his job as president. Bonus points if you get in the phrase "cigar" or "dress".

2. Celebrities are hypocrites because they fly in jets and don't drive hybrids, therefore global warming isn't real and we don't need to reduce our consumption.

Can you give me some more?

The two year old left by themselves in a locked, windows up SUV by a parent you would think has child welfare on their mind everyday - an educator at a local hight school!!! How do you come to the mind set to think - "Oh its going to be 99 degrees in Cincinnnati today, maybe Jr. can sit for 8 hours in my car" This seems to happen every few days in America, and I never can see what the excuse is. How can you forget a child you "love" is in the car with you when you park to go into work or shopping??? Do you think the death of the child is punishnment enough or should we put these people in jail to maybe ensure no other children are in their care?

I was wondering if anyone researches claims someone like the President makes (Such as the use of a quote in a speech or statistics) or the people who might refute his claims (checking their sources). This also applies to all elections.

I personally tend to do a lot of research about a candidate I support when they are accused of wrong doing so that I am armed with the "truth" before I call people on their misconceptions.

What is the biggest lie out there that drives you crazy when people bring it up and use a source please.

She has been a trouble maker since about a month after she started. Refuses to do what I ask of her. Insubordinant fits her daily. My boss said to let her go. I am not a chicken but this woman can't take orders from anyone. Her daughter is in a special school because of her lack of being able to mind anyone.

I hate to say I am scared of her, but I don't trust her.

Should I call the police before I ask for her work keys? I need an answer very soon!

Why does a judge go through a trial, convict someone of a crime, and hand out a ridiculous sentence? I read a story where a former klansman got 3 life sentences for killing someone back in 1964. Why not just give the person life without parole or the death penalty? I don't get it. Can someone explain this to me?

It started out innocently enough. I began to think at parties now and then -- just to loosen up.

Inevitably, though, one thought led to another, and soon I was more than just a social thinker.

I began to think alone -- "to relax," I told myself -- but I knew it wasn't true. Thinking became more and more important to me, and finally I was thinking all the time.

That was when things began to sour at home. One evening I turned off the TV and asked my wife about the meaning of life. She spent that night at her mother's.

I began to think on the job. I knew that thinking and employment don't mix, but I couldn't help myself.

I began to avoid friends at lunchtime so I could read Thoreau, Muir, Confucius and Kafka. I would return to the office dizzied and confused, asking, "What is it exactly we are doing here?"

One day the boss called me in. He said, "Listen, I like you, and it hurts me to say this, but your thinking has become a real problem. If you don't stop thinking on the job, you'll have to find another job."

This gave me a lot to think about. I came home early after my conversation with the boss. "Honey," I confessed, "I've been thinking..."

"I know you've been thinking," she said, "and I want a divorce!"

But Honey, surely it's not that serious." "It is serious," she said, lower lip aquiver.

"You think as much as college professors and college professors don't make any money, so if you keep on thinking, we won't have any money!"

"That's a faulty syllogism," I said impatiently.

She exploded in tears of rage and frustration, but I was in no mood to deal with the emotional drama.

"I'm going to the library," I snarled as I stomped out the door.

I headed for the library, in the mood for some Nietzsche. I roared into the parking lot with NPR on the radio and ran up to the big glass doors.

They didn't open. The library was closed.

To this day, I believe that a Higher Power was looking out for me that night. Leaning on the unfeeling glass, whimpering for Zarathustra, a poster caught my eye, "Friend, is heavy thinking ruining your life?" it asked.

You probably recognize that line. It comes from the standard Thinkers Anonymous poster.

This is why I am what I am today: a recovering thinker.

I never miss a TA meeting. At each meeting we watch a non-educational video; last week it was "Porky's." Then we share experiences about how we avoided thinking since the last meeting.

I still have my job, and things are a lot better at home.
Life just seemed easier, somehow, as soon as I stopped thinking.
I think the road to recovery is nearly complete for me.

Today I took the final step...
I joined the Democratic Party.

I think, main reason , in order to continue yahoo answers they have to suspend some successful accounts. Remember, I had aproximately 500 the best answers and I was middle of the 6 level. but, yahoo answers suspended my account without reason. Remember, I said, yahoo answers is a capitalist forum and they have to earn more and more money. in the yahoo answers, we have no right to refuse its selfish, injustice policy. I'm so upset about RLP Who has never deserved it. what can we do ? in order to blance power of yahoo answers, there must be new options that is new Global forum as yahoo answers. but, it must be fair , democratic management. we don't have to put up with yahoo answers's dictatorship !
what do you think ? ( by the way, I don't believe beachbom is leader of yahoo answers, she may be a member of yahoo staffs in order to compatitution among people)

As someone who has served in the military and been deployed I understand the hardship of being away from loved ones and friends, and I truly appreciate the sacrafice our troops make to keep pur country safe.

However, I am against the war completely, because it was predicated on lies, and the fact that we invaded and deposed the government of a nation that had no connection to 9/11. Yes Saddam was an evil dictator, but so are the presidents of North Korea and Sudan as well as other nations.

The point is I support our troops because of thier sacrafices they make for our country, but it angers me when good people die for the benefit or corporations and the military industrial complex. My wish is that all our troops be home with thier families.

Sometimes war is necessary, but if your going to send our troops to fight and die, the governemnt should have the g*ddamn common curtosy to be honest with us, but that's just me.

I've had several relatives that got cancer after they turned 65 years old. Thank God America has good insurance that pays for those things.

Why do Libs want our grandparents to NOT get screened for Cancer?

"Although more than one-third of all diagnosed cancers occur
in patients 75 years of age or older, most cancer-screening
programs in the British NHS do not include people over age
65. "

I just finished a six year enlistment in the military and I am considering being a corrections officer but honestly I worry about being scared of the inmates. I know that you can't be scared or they will know it. My question is.... is it a terrifying job. I really want to begin a law enforecement career and work on degrees in Forensics and Crime Scene investigation. From the research I have done, corrections officers suffer less work related fatalities than police officers. I'm not afraid of the job..... I'm afraid of being afraid. Any female CO's out there I could use some advice.
