In order that my beer is cold I have the frig at its coolest setting .
My kids complain and so does the wife about the lettuce and fruits and the kids about the milk and sodas .
Its football season and my buddies love cold beer and since my wife will not let me out to the pubs to watch the games I have a few friends over .

Still all I get is complaints .

Should I get divorced and leave them so I can watch the game and drink my beer in peace .

I worked for a car rental company as a rental agent...A former employee stole a rental car out of the service department in April and was not caught until the first week of August...(the car was sent to the service dept for repair/maintenance)...now my former boss is withholding my commission checks from June/July/August to pay for the cost of rental she lost during that time....I find this to be unfair (since this is money I earned) and I would like some additional points to strengthen my argument that I should not be punished for the other guy's indiscretions...do I have any legal argument for her not paying me...

...but who would stick to his/her principles.

Or support somebody whom you agree with for now, but who might change depending on what is the popular thing to say?

Which two candidates fit the above two categories?

Survey: Majority of Americans Agree with Dennis Kucinich

In the political equivalent of a “blind taste test” taken by more than 67,000 participants, an independent website surveying public attitudes on various issues is reporting that Ohio Congressman and Democratic Presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich is the first choice of a phenomenal 53% of respondents.

The website has been asking respondents to express and rank their opinions on 25 different issues – the war in Iraq, health care, the environment, Patriot Act, etc. -- that have been raised and debated among the Presidential candidates in both parties.

Those taking the survey vote only on the issues, not for or against any individual candidate. The 67,000-plus responses were then correlated with the positions of all of the candidates.

I have a friend who was stabbed and is in the hospital under a false name for his own protection. Has a newspaper violated his right to privacy by publishing his name? If they have, what would be the appropriate actions on our part or theirs?

So here's the deal everyone. I was given a ticket for "drinking in public." I went to court (NJ), plead guilty, paid the $ 200 fine. Does that create a criminal record for me ? I've no prior history of anything criminal. Also I was 21 at the time (legal but not in public). I was not arrested, or fingerprinted or anything. Thanks in advance....

Operation PAPERCLIP – While other American agencies are hunting down Nazi war criminals for arrest, the U.S. intelligence community is smuggling them into America, unpunished, for their use against the Soviets. The most important of these is Reinhard Gehlen, Hitler’s master spy who had built up an intelligence network in the Soviet Union. With full U.S. blessing, he creates the "Gehlen Organization," a band of refugee Nazi spies who reactivate their networks in Russia. These include SS intelligence officers Alfred Six and Emil Augsburg (who massacred Jews in the Holocaust), Klaus Barbie (the "Butcher of Lyon"), Otto von Bolschwing (the Holocaust mastermind who worked with Eichmann) and SS Colonel Otto Skorzeny (a personal friend of Hitler’s). The Gehlen Organization supplies the U.S. with its only intelligence on the Soviet Union for the next ten years, serving as a bridge between the abolishment of the OSS and the creation of the CIA.

A flight attendant was stationed at the departure gate to check tickets. As a man approached, she extended her hand for the ticket and he opened his trench coat and flashed her. Without missing a beat she said, "Sir, I need to see your ticket not your stub."

A lady was picking through the frozen turkeys at the grocery store, but she couldn't find one big enough for her family. She asked a stock boy, "Do these turkeys get any bigger?" The stock boy replied, "No ma'am, they're dead."

The cop got out of his car and the kid who was stopped for speeding rolled down his window. "I've been waiting for you all day," the cop said. The kid replied, "Yeah, well I got here as fast as I could." When the cop finally stopped laughing, he sent the kid on his way without a ticket.

I have a large 50+ year old tulip tree behind my garage. The trunk is 3.5 feet thick, 1/2 of it is on my property and 1/2 of it is on my neighbor's side (I have a surveyor's map, so I'm sure). I want to cut it down because it's slowly growing into my garage roof and pushing against the wall. I'm also worried about big falling branches because this type of tree is a very soft wood and it can break under it's own weight pretty easily, and I've already had my car, fence and garage roof damaged by some. He's also had some branches fall into his own yard, any one of which could have easily killed him or his kids. But my neighbor is reluctant to let me take it down because he likes the shade it provides. And even though I feel he ought to pay 1/2 the cost of removing the tree, I offered to pay for the whole thing just to get it over with. But although he's friendly in person and tells me he'll "let me know", he never answers my letters or my phone calls in order to give me the go-ahead.
