I never heard them once gripe aboput Laura Bush's $700 hair do she got AT TAXPAYERS EXPENSE for the 2nd inauguration but when Edwards pays too much OF HIS OWN MONEY-----whew look out

Most people on here are clearly the types who deride Edwards simply for being an "ambulance chasing trial lawyer" but of course that's because they're simply parroting back the drivel they've been spoonfed all their lives. Here's a summary of Edwards' most famous case:

John prosecuted a claim on behalf of a 3 yo girl whose intestines were literally sucked out of her body when she sat down over a powerful suction pump in a kiddie pool which was inadequately covered by a flimsy plastic piece, leaving her dependent on medical assistance which would cost her and her family millions of dollars during her lifetime.

Testimony from pool design expert witnesses showed that a sturdy suction cover could have been provided at a cost of only an additional 25 CENTS, yet the defendants chose to utilize the flimsy plastic piece TO SAVE A MEASLY 25 CENTS PER PUMP.

That's how much businesses care about you. Your safety wouldn't be worth 25 CENTS to them if it weren't for people like Edwards.

Lol-I don't see why any of them pick on an opponent. They all do the same thing. IE-The senator who replaced the Republican prosecutor (for morality issues in marriage)during the Clinton trial said Clinton (Bill) was morally unfit to govern society. Guess what. The same guy was found (a few months ago) in a high-priced Madam's Black Book. His wife was quoted as saying she was more of a Bobbit than a Clinton. If her husband ever did that, she would be walking away with only one thing and it wasn't alimony.
Why they accuse anyone of anything is stupid beyond belief. That only motivates the victim to find something on them. (I'll get the name of the Senator...)
As to whether conservatives can vote for a hypocrite, of course they can. I know ppl who do all the time either b/c they're not aware or they're simply in denial.

Fred Thompson isn't going around pretending to be the savior of the poor either. In fact Fred Thompson isn't even in the race. Until that time I am not paying a lot of attention to Fred Thompson. John Edwards remains the incompetent cretin that even his own state wouldn't reelect for a 2nd time. Once was enough for them.

I am a Conservative, and I could care a less where Edwards does or doesn't get his hair cut. Or how much he pays for it. I think the thing is that HE talks about the poor, and is the one not setting a very good example.

I am still voting for Thompson.

Dude, there's a huge difference between someone who is always touting the "2 America" line, who lives in the one he reputes to want to get rid of, and someone riding around i a golf cart, who, by the way is a few years older as well.

Besides, Gucci's don't cost all that much anyway!

People are sooooo dumb and petty.

Get to the issues people.

I don't care if the effing president gets a thousand dollar haircut and wears clothing made out of virgin pubic hairs if he can do a great and honest job that is sincere and in the best interest of the people.

Stop getting distracted by these stories that are designed to distract from the real issues.

In other words: Stop being manipulated.

I know your question is directed toward conservatives and I'm a libertarian that's in the Republican Party and also criticize Mr. John "socialist" Edwards. I can't consciously vote for any Republican running except Ron Paul. The rest have too many statist qualities.

I don't see the relevance, but I agree, Fred Thompson is not a choice. Ron Paul is.

Conservatives will criticize anyone in the opposing party, that's all they got...a slim chance at the White House in 2008

All politicians are bogus!

Do you reeeeeeaaaaally believe that either the "left" or the "right" are either one going to save your ***?

Save yourselves dam*it!!

Let's get rid of ALL of them!

We con't need another lawyer. We need the Doctor!
http://www.RonPaul2008.com

Dr. Ron Paul may be the last chance we have to keep from completely selling out the future of our country.

Look into him. Yes, he's technically a (R), but he's no lawyer!

I'm not extending a fist or a finger your way. I'm offering you my hand in true unity.
