Thats what Mugabbe told his people when he seized power from the whites. Thats what Idi Amin told his people. Thats what Papa Doc told his people. Thats what Mandela told his people. Ask any of these people now if they were taken in the right direction. They all suffered and are still suffering from this so called direction.

Unfortunatly I am going through a divorce and my child support on 2 kids has been calculated to be $1115 a month, plus processing charges that brings the total to $1365 a month. Does anyone know if that it right? By Ohio Law? The messed up thing is that number is based on me making 45 grand a year and my ex making 30 grand a year. seems like I am getting a raw deal. Any advice?

Only answer if you have experience or have worked for CPS:
My ex friend had his child taken away from by CPS, but he did his services and passed the last drug test, so he got the child back.
But he is using again. If he gets turned in again to CPS, will they finally terminate his rights, or do they keep giving people chance after chance??

My kids are going to middle school and we live in a not so good neiborhood. Often kids fight, tease etc...while waiting on the school bus. I call school & transportation dept. about what is happening at the bus stop but both seem like don't want to take responsibility. If I tape what the kids are doing at the bus stop and show to the local board of education, I think they will do something to keep kids safe at the bus stop but I'm also worried I might get charged for taping the kids.

Simply taking a poll. Do you believe what Perez Hilton is reporting about Fidel Castro's death? He claims that the announcement will be made soon, and that law enforcement in Miami is mobilizing. I have reserved judgement until the truth comes out, but I'd like to hear your opinion. (So don't say I'm stupid because as I said, i am not backing Perez's possible rumor)...

When are people going to face the fact the 9/11 was just a conspiracy by our own government for an excuse to go to Iraq? There is no explanation for a lot of questionable things that went on that day, specifically with the President. Why were Saudi's supposedly on those planes and not Iraqi's or Iran or Syria? Why wern't planes launched to intercept the other planes that were off course. It's time to stop fooling yourselves and start asking questions that should be answered under oath by the Executive Branch (including Mr. Cheney, although he doesn't consider himself part of it). There were too many holes here. But I guess people don't like to question things anymore. They just accept what the media and the government tells them.

She is a big time LIB and complains that my 1999 Ford Excusion takes up too much space in the back parking lot? She told my roomate that she hates my bumper stickers and thinks I am a facist. I try to be nice to her but I can see the hatred and disgust in her eyes? What can I do?

(My Bumper Stickers are "Peace through Superior Fire Power" & "PETA - People Eating Tasty Animals".

Plus I have several yellow ribbons to show my support for the troops!

I moved in 14 months ago and hired a moving company to move my ithings to FL with a total bill of $6k. During the move I had numorous issues and complained to the company.

It is customary for the movers to colect prior to unloading the truck, they did not collect. When they were done, I asked about payment and was told no payment was due "it had been credited". Nine months later I received a notice that I owed the moving company $6k. Initially I argued and now I am being told they are sending to an attorney to collect.

I have called, emailed and complained to my congressman about the Veterans Administration claims backlog, which is backlogged near 600,000 now. He keeps advising me to "Be Patient!" VA Claims have been backlogged for over 20 years and Veterans have been patient. What should I do now to help Veterans with this issue? I am also a disabled veteran but I want to help fellow veterans. Any ideas?

That's the conclusion of a scientist who was on the scene at the time as disclosed by BBC reporter Greg Palast:

Greg Palast: Hurricane George: How the White House Drowned New Orleans

[Thursday, August 23] It's been two years. And America's media is about to have another tear-gasm over New Orleans. Maybe Anderson Cooper will weep again. The big networks will float into the moldering corpse of the city and give you uplifting stories about rebuilding and hope.

Now, let's cut through the crybaby crap. Here's what happened two years ago -- and what's happening now. This is what an inside source told me. And it makes me sick:

"By midnight on Monday, the White House knew. Monday night I was at the state Emergency Operations Center and nobody was aware that the levees had breeched. Nobody."

The charge is devastating: That, on August 29, 2005, the White House withheld from the state police the information that New Orleans was about to flood.

I used to give to a certain charity, but have since stopped since I did a lot or research on charities and this particular one scores very poorly on GuideStar, Give.com, and Charity Navigator with respect to how they handle the incoming money they receive.

So I've now written them 6 times to stop mailings to me, and have even contacted the DMA, and the DMA has contacted them twice, but still I get solicitations about once a week. This is over about 9 months time, so they have had ample time to
update their mailing lists.

I know I can just recycle the mail, but I'd like to get them to stop if for no other reason than to save a few trees.

Any other ideas?

Thanks.

A Mexican Senate committee passed a measure Wednesday urging President Felipe Calderon to send a diplomatic note to the United States protesting the deportation of an illegal migrant who took refuge in a Chicago church for a year.

The committee also approved a scholarship to help her 8-year-old U.S.-born son, Saul, who is an American citizen and stayed in the United States.

Elvira Arellano, 32, became an activist and a national symbol for illegal immigrant parents by defying her deportation order and speaking out from her sanctuary in the Adalberto United Methodist Church. She announced last week that she was leaving to try to lobby U.S. lawmakers for immigration reform.
