If Bush wanted to stage a conspiracy as an excuse to fight a war in Iraq (and there's plenty of evidence that he did, and that all the reasons for the war were grasping at straws), wouldn't his administration have come up with a scenario that actually had something to do with Iraq?
I think it's fair to question whether the Bush administration just ignored the potential terrorist threats because they knew an attack would be the biggest power boost they could ever hope for.
But there's no evidence that points to any element within the US govt as actually having staged the attack. (And there is plenty of evidence to suggest they wouldn't have been competent enough to so so.)
And why would they have staged fake phone calls from passengers? There is no dispute that the victims were real. There are too many people who have actually lost loved ones for a conspiracy with that many loose ends to have been covered up. Too many reporters interviewing too many family members. No conspiracy involving so many people could be that coordinated.

You've seen too many X-files type movies and shows. Nobody in America "just accepts" what the media and government tells them. That is just a line that fictional Hollywood characters use. We Americans are like house cats, we all go our own ways and nobody can tell us what to do.
And, your statement "people don't like to question things anymore" is nonsense. People question EVERYTHING now days. People question the moon landing, the Holocaust, and JFK. People have a conspiracy theory for everything now. Maybe, in the past, people might have questioned things too little. However, nowdays, people question things that in all rationality are not questionable.
It is always important to be open minded. But, don't be so open minded that the wind blows into one ear and out the other.

Osama Bin Laden is a Saudi Arabian, who resents the fact that Saudi Arabia is allies with the US, is it so hard to believe that other Saudis share his feelings?
The 9/11 commission already stated that there was no credible link between Iraq and Al Qaeda, so what's your point.
What was the president doing on that morning that could be deemed suspicious?
As for interceptingg planes or launching jets the Air Force did, even after the first plane hit the tower, do you have any idea how long it would take a fighter to reach the area. What makes you think they would have had the authority to shoot down a civilian jet. Do you know how much more damage shooting a plane down over NYC would cause?
As for interceptin other off course jets, do you have any idea how hard it is to track over 4000 aircraft, especially if the transponders are turned off.
You do a lot of ranting yet you offer no link or any type of evidence to support your position. Why is it so hard for you to accept Bush wasn't responsible?
I dislike Bush, but I don't think he or the government planned 9/11. Don't you think if we wanted to invade Iraq we could have come up with a better idea.
There is a huge difference between dissent and stupidity I think you jumped off the dissent end into the abyss of stupidity. I truly feel sorry for you.

It is hard to open a closed mind. What I can't stand about the self-righteous,closed minded Christians that still support this administration is they are supposed to seek the truth as Christians.By watching the videos out there what really convinced me were the still pics of the core columns! They looked like they were cut, with rescue workers searching the debris!

Nearly 40% of americans now believe that the government had involvement in 9/11 attacks. People who speak the truth will be branded nut cases and whackos until of course when they start to realise the administration starts to get twitchy with all the questions and the overwhelming evidence that 9/11 was an inside job. For those people who do not yet believe, please join the winning team, and welcome to the first revolution started in cyber space because the media is definately not talking about it.

Save yourself some time and embarrassment, read: http://www.911myths.com/
I will address two of the questions you asked here:
Why were Saudi's supposedly on those planes and not Iraqi's or Iran or Syria? - What does this have to do with your bigger question. They were radical Muslims.
Why wern't planes launched to intercept the other planes that were off course? - Because this was not standard practice prior to 9/11. There have been many hijackings. We did not scramble fighters after them either.

So since you stated in this question that it is a conspiracy by our own gov't then do you mean it started with Clinton?
You are aware of the fact that Al Quada and Osama are behind 9/11 aren't you? Well then....
You should be aware that when Bill Clinton was in office our Marine Snipers where on a mission to fight terrorism (ordered by the Pres). On this mission those Marine Snipers came onto the trail of Osama Bin Laden. That trail led directly to him. The Marine Snipers reported this...President Bill Clinton said...stand down. Osama Bin Laden is not a serious enough threat at this time (which he had allready caused major devestation all over the country). So in other words these honorable Marine Snipers went on...leaving Osama to plan out 9/11. A conspiracy...maybe, but by whom?????

Possibly never. Those that don't want to face the facts are the ones that prefer to toss around invectives than try to honestly debate the facts.
