I sent 3 letters to my boyfriend who is in jail at the moment, I got notice that those letters were rejected because I had printed out the address on the envelope with my printer. Does anyone know?

What you need to find out is what the jails policy and procedures are for mail. Generally, this will tell you what is and is not accepted for inmate letters. At my agency, we remove the stamps and stickers (even pre-printed addresses) attached to letters, because people attempt to hide contraband under them. While I do not understand why they have specifically rejected your letter, there may have been a previous incident involving an envelope similar to yours or it might have been rejected for additional reasons other than what you listed.

Good luck!
