Thats what Mugabbe told his people when he seized power from the whites. Thats what Idi Amin told his people. Thats what Papa Doc told his people. Thats what Mandela told his people. Ask any of these people now if they were taken in the right direction. They all suffered and are still suffering from this so called direction.

Oh please! You cannot possibly call yourself an intelligent person and compare Barack Obama to Idi Amin or Papa Doc. If you want to know about Obama and his voting record which speaks volumes, then go to BarackObama.com. And I hope you don't think we're headed in a proper direction now. And Kucinich is the most liberal of all the candidates for the answerer above me and Guiliani isn't what I would call conservative.

That's what all politicans say when people are disgruntled with the way things are. I think Obama would do a better job then any of the Republicans. Romney was a terrible governor for MA. He did absolutely nothing and in fact, he let the ultra rich avoid paying excise taxes. Our new governor caught it. Why should I pay taxes on my modest vehicle while some rich person doesn't have to on his ultra luxury vehicle (Bentleys, etc.)?? Does that seem right to you? That's only one example. There are lots of others.

Well, any direction but down would be better than what we have now. Bush has made so many mistakes and is surrounded by so much corruption it couldn't be any worse.

Obama is a progressive. That means progress. I know that is a bad word to cons. but we have to progress some time or we would all be living in caves hitting each other over the head with clubs when we had a disagreement. There are some major issues facing America today and he wants to tackle them. That is much more than I can say for Bush and most of the GOP candidates running for president.

Good question, what every American should be asking.

But my guess is, it's the old "ABB" (Anybody but Bush) BS.

Why can't they just say what they beleive and will work to achieve? That's how John Kerry lost his support, and why I'm not voting for Obama or Hillary.

Never listen to a political piper. Obama has not demonstrated to anyone that he could lead a country. And we are no lemmings, or?

I thought we turned black into something defining one's character. Obama isn't black, his skin is, but he acts like a white guy. He stioll came out of nowhere and all he has going for him is he's "charasmatic" and his skin is a little darker. "He's stealing my old women vote!" says "HiIlary".

More taxes, more government, more hand outs....he is the most liberal of all the candidates.......(candidates with half a chance). Obama keeping putting his foot in his mouth, he is way over his head.
