Is this right?

1. Bush and Cheney and Co. aren't incompetent because Clinton had an affair in the White House and therefore Bush is a great president. No matter what someone says about Bush ,just mention Clinton and his affair. That will end the argument, since Clinton's affair has everything to do with his job as president. Bonus points if you get in the phrase "cigar" or "dress".

2. Celebrities are hypocrites because they fly in jets and don't drive hybrids, therefore global warming isn't real and we don't need to reduce our consumption.

Can you give me some more?

You got it. Throw out all reason and facts and just argue emotionally. Slogans work well too especially if they rhyme.......it's irrelevant if they make sense.

Another Con/Rep strategy is the wash. For example.....Bush has depleted the surplus, started an illegal war, broken many laws, ignored his oath to uphold the constitution, failed at everything he has tried prior to and after becoming a president, received a record low approval rating, etc........but Clinton had an affair and lied about it.......it's a wash.

That is how so many Cons/Reps argue and justify their ridiculous beliefs. They equate unrelated issues and facts to avoid facing the issues directly. Why do you think they appeal to the lowest, uneducated, gullible, garbage of this country? Because those are the only people dumb enough to buy the lies. Go figure why so many of these same people believe in an all loving God, the creator of the universe, who hates gay people, muslims, poor people, science, the truth, liberals, non-Christians, education, etc......

Most Cons/Reps think like children. No thought process. Just emotional ignorant responses.

First of all you're putting too much lib thinking into your example... maybe this will help;

Bush and Cheney and Co. all acted on intelligence given them by the Clinton Administration and the surge and scare talk of WMD's in Iraq was proliferated by that same administration and Senators.... Clinton's affair had quite a bit to do with his poor leadership after the fact....

Celebrities are idiots and most of them kept a "c" average in high school.they want the rest of us to use one square of TP, meanwhile leaving bigger carbon footprints then the rest of us, that what makes the hypocrites... Humans being the reason for "global warming " has been disproved in part by the same NASA statistics Al Gore used to scare society into believing his crap... Meanwhile, Gore, due to many inconsistencies, renamed his billion dollar making enterprise to climate change.... which by the way happens on all planets....
You can use links too !!!! See the difference in the two examples.......

I actually don't see very much difference between the typical con and the typical lib on here. Neither side knows the meaning of either liberal or conservative and both use the same old tired,
irrational arguments against each other day in and day out.

Toss in LOTS of lib variations. EX: libbies, libs, libturds, lieberals . . .

Ask people why they hate freedom.
Tell them, if they've done nothing wrong, they have nothing to worry about.
Ask them why they hate America.
Point out that we're fighting "them" there so we don't have to fight them here. --then scream that we need even MORE surveillance of U.S. citizens to prevent an attack here.
Ignore questions about why the border stays WIDE OPEN.

I'll think of some others later.

3. Pulling out of Iraq is surrendering. They will FOLLOW US HOME

4. Iran should be attacked. Id' rather fight them there than on the streets of Mahattan

5. Don't question my moral authority. The bible is on my side

6 If something goes wrong during Bush's presidency, it must be traced bakc to Bill Clinton

It's all scare tactics.

Just use insults and slogans and if that does not work repeatedly try to drown out your opponent with loud "shut up" exclamations and hope you don't get knocked out!

Counter facts with half truths and outright lies.

If that fails just attack their patriotism and continue to lie and deny.
