Well, FYI Georgie wasn't the only person to sneak out of doing service in Vietnam. Willy Will dodged it entirely, and Kerry went and found a way out of the jungle once he realized it was too hot and people were actually trying to kill him.

Also, just LEAVING iraq would only make the problems worse. Everybody with a rational thought process knows this. The neo-socialists that are calling for a pull-out either
A.) Know what would happen and just want another reason to blame Bush instead of being actual politicians.
B.) DONT know what would happen and are continuing their blissful ignorance by refusing to be enlightened.

There is no answer because your question doesn't make sense. Stop being a Bush-hater. You're making the rest of the democrats look bad.

Bush was in the Air National Guard, his unit was never sent to Vietnam so your comment is pointless.

Bush is not in Iraq.

Why can't we simply pull out. It is a nightmare that we caused. Bush failed to capture/kill Bin Laden in Afghanistan and he needed to show that he was a competent commander in chief. So he attacked a country that had nothing to do with 9/11, disposed of their leader and made a mess of the country. Then Bush tells you it is for the betterment of Iraqi lives. Why can't they have their civil war, we did and we turned out okay. Bush lied to us and he lied to the world, my only hope is that he does not get the rest of us killed before we can be saved next November. Also I can take solace in knowing that he will go own as the worst president ever. I did not get this from CNN, but from living my life outside the fear inducing left wing media. Thank you W for killing thousands of the bravest fighters in the world in a war that did not need to be fought. George Bush is a murderer plain and simple. He sacrificed Americans in an effort to not lose face, and then... he lost face.

Who says we can't simply leave, we did it in Vietnam. This is getting out of hand, and we just need to let them kill themselves. The alternative is that they still kill themselves just as much, but they take down our brave men and woman with them.

Iraq is not our biggest problem. We are fixing the education system for them when ours needs help. We are feedng and sheltering their homeless when we have plenty here. We are increasing their police force with the best weapons and men when we are under manned in some places. We should fix America first, and worry about a country that hates us last. Again they don't want us there, so let them kill each other.

And to the above comment about millitary service. W was in the Nation Guard, and never left the country. Hillary Clinton could not fight for our country because she was a woman when woman did not fight wars. And Republicans need to lay off Bill. If this current president shows us anything it is that Bill was a great president. Fixed the economy crippled by the previous Bush, and tried to fix our country first and others second. It would be fitting that a Clinton would again fix the F-ups of a Bush a second time. What a disgrace.

First President Bush did not get us out of VN. Having said that, when we pulled out the communist over ran the country and people were killed by the hundreds of thousands. I we were to pull out of Iraq, the same exact thing would happen. Not only that the Mideast would be incomplete turmoil, and we would find our self's in a war to end all wars. Plus you probably would not be driving your car any longer. As for him not being in the Army he was an AF reserve. That is quite a bit more than Hillary or Bill Clinton ever did.

Slick Willie "found a way out of Vietnam", as did Al Gore and John Kerry, and almost every other politician currently in office.

What does that have to do with the current imbroglio in the Middle East?

All of them found an INDIVIDUAL way out of Vietnam. That has nothing to do with being the Leader of the Nation.

They can't get out of Iraq because if they leave to soon then it has the potential to become a country like Afghanastan was(controlled by terrorist) and it will be an area in which they could harbour terrorist's. I am against the war but I think they should stay there atleast until the Iraqi forces are strong enough to look after the country.

Because he doesn't have a draft notice for Iraq, like he did with Vietnam. And he's profiting greatly from the Iraq conflict. As are his cronies.

You make it sound like he wants to go. Iraq isn't some form of torture that the American army has to go through. We should be there, and we shouldn't even consider leaving until the country is safe.

In Vietnam, he had all the higher ranking powers above him to decide for him. Now HE is the higher ranking power and a decision he doesn't know how to handle.
