I travel by train to NY during the week. Along the way, we make stops at many 'small towns'. I see so-called 'illegals' at quite a few stops.
But I also see big fancy cars pulling up, trucks,. SUV's, all kind sof vehicles---picking up these 'illegals'-obviously they are taking them to some work site.
And to tell the truth, a couple of Mexicans were working next door to me a few months back. They did a really fabulous job on my neighbor's landscaping. and so I hired them!
They took care of my landscaping also. In fact I tipped them handsomely. Better job than any other contractor I have ever hired from the United States!
and do you know what? I'd hire them again.
Why?
Because they work their behinds off and what they charge is not unreasonable or inflated.

I think it bothers you more that they stand around convenience stores. ok -- Then work on a place where they can stand.....so they can go to WORK. They're not standing around waiting to rob your house SILLIES!

Gore distanced himself from Clinton. Kerry at least served in military although pro-Jane Fonda/anti-military later favoring many unethical and unsavory laws. Latest two "leaders", are anti-military with the most infamous lying about being turned down from enlistment as a military lawyer "because of glasses". The one making this one look centrist (who is actually Leftist) is an admitted apostate from Islam after going to their religious schools for many years, he became a Christian. His religion's followers kill people who disavow "the one true God, Allah" and become Christians.
Just stating the facts available online all over the internet.

The Terrorists have hit London, Spain, Bali and others but because of George W. Bush's policies;

Wire Taps
Patriot Act
Cuba Prison Camps
Fighting them over there....so we don't have to fight them over here.

The terrorists have not been able to strike America on her own soil.

Would expansion of NAFTA assist immigrants in staying in their home countries? Remember when Perrot said there will be a giant sucking sound? Well, the sucking sound seems to be comming from the US. There are many benefits of expanding NAFTA.

When you pass a military vet, do you proudly salute and shake their hand like I do, and say thank you for your service, or are you a liberal who sneers at them and says slanderous things to them or about them behind their back. I personally am proud of our troops, and I proudly shake their hand, say thank you, and yes, I even salute them. For all they do and go through, just so we can enjoy our freedom, they deserve at the very least that much from the rest of us. God Bless America, and God Bless Mr. and Mrs. American Soldier. For all they do and go through I is a shame that some people will spit at them and say slanderous things to them all in the name of "liberalism and free speech". All I gotta say is that if your gonna do that to a vet who fought for you and for your freedom anywhere near me, just give me fair warning first so I can reload my shotgun real quick. So, what is your stand in this, which do you do when you see an american soldier. Looking forward to you answers.

I just bought a car and the loan is in my name but the registration is in my ex-boyfriend's name. The title was supposed to be in both of our names but my ex got the title and put it in his name only. We had a verbal agreement that I would keep the car and he would take our other vehicle. He stole my car in the middle of the night and left me with the old car. Will I have to take him to court? I stopped payment on the car but he will ruin my credit because he's not making the car payments. I want to get my name off of the loan. Please help!

I've never seen the provision of free public schools questioned... when this benefits far less people than health care would.

Everyone keeps saying "why should i pay for anyone else's healthcare?" If you feel that way, then why should you pay for anyone else's kid's schooling? Why not get rid of public schools, and let parents pay for their kids own schooling?

It can't be just because it's about kids- health care involves kids too.

I'm not saying I agree with one or the other, I just wonder why no one seems to bat an eyelid about government provided schools and yet so many are terrified at the prospect of universal health. What's the big difference?

Why are people so worried about discussing troop withdrawl openly?

The "enemy" already knows the US cannot and will not stay forever, it's not like we will be there one day and "poof!" we're gone the next.

We are so involved over there that it'll be known way in advance that we are pulling out; simple logistics dictates that.

So, should people stop with the "you can't talk openly about a withdrawl date" talk? In my humble opinion, the Iraqi government won't "stand up" until they realize the U.S. crutch is pulling out.

A military leader with No military experience or one with actual ground time (not 60's and 70's playing at the National Guard)....So as I don't 'offend' any conservatives, I'll use their own ......Eisenhower who was a five star general on the battlefield in WWII or Reagan who sold war bonds but didn't even bother to enlist. Eisenhower's son was in the military, none of Reagan's were. So who would you follow? Someone who actually saw battle and had their children in rank and file besides yours or someone who was not in the military nor were any of their near-and-dears....... who do you feel would make the better leader.

Why not a single FACT to support their undefendable position,
instead they have to try and label people as some of the following.

1. Racist. Hmmm, last Anthropology class I completed clearly
defined the three known races of man as Caucazoid,
******* and Mongoloid. NO where in science is being
Mexican, Latino, Hispanic etc... considered a race. And
BTW there are people here illegally from all over the world,
Whites, Blacks and Asians. Guess what I want them all
gone.

2. Biggot. So since I want all laws enforced I must be
biggoted agains't all races, creeds and colors right ?
The real definition of a biggot is anyone who wins an
argument with a liberal.

3. Xenophobic. Nope, not at all. As long as you obey the laws
of my country I say welcome to America and enjoy your stay
and don't let the door hit you on your way back out.

4. Have I missed any ? Please feel free to add to this list.

1. To invade other nations in an effort to "spread democracy," or
2. To defend the United States against threats?

Note the word "PRIMARY" in the question; that means you're limited to ONE choice. I'm curious what people think the most important thing our military does is. And I'm NOT speaking with regard to the war in Iraq, so save your snarky comments about how our military invaded Iraq to protect us from al Qaeda, okay? It's not only untrue, it's completely irrelevant to the question I'm asking.
