Dr. Ron Paul may be the last chance we have to keep from completely selling out the future of our country.

Look into him. Yes, he's technically a (R), but he's no lawyer!

I'm not extending a fist or a finger your way. I'm offering you my hand in true unity.

Does NeoLib stand for neo-libertarian... ie libertarian with an interventionalist streak... or rather libertarian who's strong on foreign policy?

If that's what you mean, then count me in...

And to answer your question... ****, how should I know... none of the current crop of candidates out is better than 60% in agreement with me...

All the Democrats are socialists, so they're off the list right off the bat...

As for the Republicans, I like Ron Paul on most domestic issues... but he's kinda an isolationist... so I'm torn about him.

The rest of the republicans come in between 40 - 60% in agreement with me. I oppose Gulilanti because he is for more gun control, greater domestic spying, more war on drugs... but I like him on taking an agressive stance against terrorism...

Romney is about the most socialist of the bunch of republicans... he supports socialized medicine, which is the single issue that'll loose my support... didn't need to hear anything after that... but I also don't like that he's for embryotic stem cell research... not that I'm opposed to the research on ethical grounds, but many people are in this country, so our tax dollars should not be going to research that is abhorent to the sensibilities of so many people... in fact I don't think the government should be spending money on research at all... but that's a different topic for a different time... but I do like his position on charter schools... so there's 1 plus.

McCain... is he even still in the race? Yeah, I guess he is, but just barley... he supports gun control, so there's a major strike... he also made that idiotic anti-democratic piece of legislation, the McCain-Finegold Campaign Finance Reform Bill... but I still like him on school vouchers... but I think McCain is the Republican candidate that is for the biggest government... and that is the opposite of what I'm looking for in a candidate...

As for Fred Thompson... don't really know that much about him yet... what I've heard is positive, for the most part, but time will tell... I'll reserve my oppinions of him until he's officially in the race.

As for second tier candidates... I think I like Sam Brownback best, because of his support for the Constitution Restoration Act, which might give some power back to the states... because for whatever reason the brilliant system of enumerated powers and rights, and the damn 9th and 10th amendments for some reason just aren't enough to keep Washington's damn nose out of the State's and our personal business!

I like Mike Huckabee too because of his position on immigration... he seems to be the only candidate who sees immigrants as a blessing and not a curse...

Neither Tancrado, nor Hunter have really given me much to get excited about... but I'll wait to see what their positions are down the line....

In the end, however, there is not one candidate that really does it for me. I am quite disapointed... I mean, I never expected there to be a candidate that I agreed with 100% of the time... but I was at least hoping for 75 - 80% agreement... so far, no luck though... I'm starting to think about third party candidates... which would only be the Libertarian party... but everyone knows the Libertarian party realy doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning an election... and besides, most of the candidates the Libertarian Party puts up tend to be a joke...

If I were a NeoLib (and that term doesn't exist, there are only neo-cons, but I like it anyway), I would vote for Hillary. Why? Two words: Hillary Care.

AKA, Communism.

Please and thanks after neolibs? What kind of a radical are you? You will be kicked out of the radical association of America for any nice behavior. It is in the by laws.

of all the candidates running at this point Hillary Clinton is my choice. Not because the others are worse than her or that she's any better, its solely because she already knows where all the bathrooms are in the Whitehouse.
