I personally think that in the u.s.a. doesn't exist communism and that the left side there is more near to the right than for example in italy where we have two "comunist" parties and the left is truly divised from the right side. here in italy the left side is more active and actually our country now is divised in two parts (50 % cdl=right side and 50% unione=left side)
i belive that american first think of themselves as american than as republicans or democratics here in italy doesn't happen that way people don't think themselves as italian..they think themselves as which party they vote..and this way make our nation divised into two parts..which is in my opinion is worse

is it true that in the u.s.a. there isn't a lot of difference between left or right?(at least less than in italy)

this is really long sorry. I am 16 and my friend, lets call her karen, is 15. She told me she was sexually abused two years ago, before christmas, and told my friend in the end of july. Karen and her family moved to North Carolina, and she came to new jersey for the summer. My friend, maria, and I were talking about it and my dad overheard. He talked to karen and then talked to her mother. Her mother said she would kick him out. Then she said they would go to family counselling, now karen not suppossed to talk to me about anything that goes on at home. Recent developements prove that is a great possibility that he had sex with Karens older sister, and he's back in karens house. He has also phisically and verbally abused her in front of me and my parents. Is there anyway to get her out of that house where she is alone with him? If there is anything legally we can do, but since she went to NC and I'm in NJ it's not like we can testify or anything. All I want is for her to be safe.

We are actually still in the middle of divorce,but have been separated for a while, but he thinks he might be bipolar or something like that. I know he must have some mental health issues, because he had this horrible mood swings and an explosive character. Does anyone know what a psychiatrist's diagnosis might do to his career? He is prior Air Force and I know just calling and asking for counseling put up a red flag for them. He needs help but does not want to get kicked out- or be flagged- Any advice from active duty or prior military?

mt boyfriend which lived with me for 4 yrs which i havent had any problems with - a sheriff came to my house on a sat and picked him up for unpaid parking tickets which i knew nothing about - this is in Pa. - then after they took him to see the judge they said that he has 2 other warrants - im shocked - one for posession that is from the year 2000 - and one for unemployment that wasnt repaid from 2003 - These things ar before i met him- what will happen to him and what can i do to help him . during the time hes been with me he has been working and being responsible .

With unemployment rates as high as 8% in many western countries is it economically worthwhile to allow immigrants with no skills in.
