The declaration of independence isn't a law. You are either confusing it with the Constitution or the Articles of Confederation.

Oi. The Bill of Rights exists as a separate legal instrument that falls outside of the normal jurisdiction of the Legislative Branch to protect essential rights from being bastardized by the courts or even the government itself.

What you are confused about is that our laws laid down by our forefathers is written in the Constitution.

This Bush administration has done more to circumvent the laws of our Constitution than any previous administration. He claims that he has been put in his office by God. Well! God help us for that!!!!

If you will delve into history and also look at the present wars that are being led by a God, than you will better understand what we are up against. The separation of Church and State is not present in this administration.
