There are so many low wage people with children that have default student loans, and the only way they can afford to pay them back is by having their EIC tax refunds garnished.

There's no way the government can collect on these default student loans if they do not garnish their income tax returns. People with children would be forced to work under the table in order for their familys to survive.

First off there is no chance that china or anyone else could ever invade the united states. The usa has the technology and no country could make it even close to the usa. So thats out of the question.

As far as the united states invading china. First of all they would have to have a real good reason. For example the usa invades korea and china sticks there nose in it by attacking the united states. )

The united states would not fight china like we have ever fought anyone else. The united state has advanced weapons that have never been seen before in combat that we would use to win this war. The usa would be smart enough not to fight ten thousand guys to there one. It would be the largest display of an arial attack known to mankind that kills millions of chinese on there home turf leaving china with no choice but to fire nukes that the usa would intercept and fire 3-10 nukes on china that would destroy them and there economy. Usa wins all the way. What do you think.

Opinions??? Any way to handle Prision over population?

He has jail meals down to 40 cents a serving and charges the inmates for them. He stopped smoking and porno magazines in the jails, took away their weights, cut off all but "G" movies. He started chain gangs so the inmates could do free work on county and city projects. Then he started chain gangs for women so he wouldn't get sued for discrimination.

He took away cable TV until he found out there was a Federal Court Order that required cable TV for Jails. But only let in the Disney Channel and the Weather when asked why he replied,
so they know how hot it will be on the chain gangs.

He cut off coffee since it has zero nutritional value. The inmates complained he told them "This Isn't the Ritz Carlton, if you don't like it, don't come back."

CHEAP TOMATOES
This English teacher has phrased it the best I've seen yet

CHEAP TOMATOES? This should make everyone think, be you Democrat, Republican or Independent
From a California school teacher - - -
"As you listen to the news about the student protests over illegal
Immigration, there are some things that you should be aware of:
I am in charge of the English-as-a-second-language department at a Large southern California high school which is designated a Title 1 School, meaning that its students average lower socioeconomic and Income levels. Most of the schools you are hearing about, South Gate High, Bell Gardens, Huntington Park, etc., where these students are protesting, are also Title 1 schools. Title 1 schools are on the free breakfast and free lunch program. When I say free breakfast, I'm not talking a glass of milk and roll. But a full breakfast and cereal bar with fruits and juices that would make a Marriott proud. The waste of this food is monumental, with trays and trays of it being dumped in the trash uneaten. (OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK)
I estimate that well over 50% of these students are obese or at least moderately overweight. About 75% or more DO have cell phones. The school also provides day care centers for the unwed teenage pregnant girls (some as young as 13) so they can attend class without the inconvenience of having to arrange for babysitters or having family
Watch their kids. (OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK)
I was ordered to spend $700,000 on my department or risk losing funding for the upcoming year even though there was little need for anything; My budget was already substantial. I ended up buying new computers for the computer learning center, half of which, one month later, have been carved with graffiti by the appreciative students who obviously feel humbled and grateful to have a free education in America. (OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK)
I have had to intervene several times for young and substitute Teachers whose classes consist of many illegal immigrant students here in the country less then 3 months who raised so much hell with the female teachers, calling them "PutBlankas" whoblankres and throwing things that the teachers were in tears.
Free medical, free education, free food, day care etc., etc, etc. Is it any wonder they feel entitled to not only be in this country but to demand rights, privileges and entitlements? To those who want to point out how much these illegal immigrants contribute to our society because they LIKE their gardener and Housekeeper and they like to pay less for tomatoes: spend some time in the real world of illegal immigration and see the TRUE costs.
Higher insurance, medical facilities closing, higher medical costs, more crime, lower standards of education in our schools, overcrowding, new diseases etc., etc, etc. For me, I'll pay more for tomatoes!!!
We need to wake up. The guest worker program will be a disaster because we won't have the guts to enforce it. Does anyone in their right mind really think they will voluntarily leave and return? There are many hardworking Hispanic/American citizens that contribute to our country and many that I consider my true friends. We should Encourage and accept those Hispanics who have done it the right and legal way.
It does, however, have everything to do with culture: A third- world culture that does not value education, that accepts children getting pregnant and dropping out of school by 15 and that refuses to assimilate, and an American culture that has become so weak and worried about "politically correctness" that we don't have the will to do anything about it. If this makes your blood boil, as it did mine, forward this to everyone you know.
CHEAP LABOR? Isn't that what the whole immigration issue is about? Business doesn't want to pay a decent wages.Consumers don't want expensive produce.Government will tell you Americans don't want the jobs. But the bottom line is cheap labor. The phrase "cheap labor" is a myth, a farce, and a lie. There is no such thing as "cheap labor."
Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children. He takes a job for $5.00 or $6.00/hour. At that wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year, if he files an Income Tax Return, he gets an "earned income credit" of up to $3,200 free.He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent.He qualifies for food stamps. He qualifies for free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care.
His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school. He requires bilingual teachers and books. He qualifies for relief from high energy bills. If they are or become, aged, blind or disabled, they qualify for SSI. Once qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicare. All of this is at (our) taxpayer's expense. He doesn't worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance.
Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed material. He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour in benefits.
Working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour left after paying their bills and his. The American taxpayers also pay for increased crime, graffiti and trash clean-up.

Cheap labor? YEAH RIGHT! Wake up people.THESE ARE THE QUESTIONS WE SHOULD BE ADDRESSING TO THE RESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES FOR EITHER PARTY. 'AND WHEN THEY LIE TO US AND DON'T DO AS THEY SAY, WE SHOULD REPLACE THEM AT ONCE!'

THIS HAS GOT TO BE PASSED ALONG TO AS MANY AS POSSIBLE OR WE WILL ALL
GO DOWN THE DRAIN BECAUSE A FEW DON'T CARE.

WE CANNOT AFFORD TO BE THE WELFARE STATE FOR THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!

Or should I just try to learn more about it as long as I don't agree with them? Would that be looked upon unfavorably? Should I not disclose to anyone who my relatives are? I want to find out more, but fear what the response will be. On the other hand, if I don't tell someone that I have Nazi relatives, it could impede my research.

For those who aren't educated well in this area lets review.

1st) The Jews and the Muslims are both Semites

2nd) The Jewish religion and Islam both believe in God but refuse to acknowledge Jesus as God.

3rd) Israel bombs Muslims (and even Americans in some cases) just because they call themselves Muslims.

So if Jews would convert to Islam and lay down their weapons we would truly have World peace and we would not have so many young Americans dying in the military in the Middle East!

But the Jews are stubborn and insist that Israel is "their" land and that they are better than everyone else. It sure is sad isn't it.

Why can't we all just live in peace:)

Hey everyone.

My daughter-in-laws brother just found out that his girlfriend is pregnant. She is 16.....(ouch!). Her parents have forbid him to see her, and is telling him that they are going to force her to get an abortion. Can they legally do this??? Her brothers have supposedly told her that they are going to push her down the stairs.......I don't know how true that is.....I don't know the family, but the idea that someone would even say something like that scares the hell out of me. Not wanting to get into the middle of any of this, I am simply trying to find out if they can forcibly perform an abortion or not. She is desiring to file for Emancipation, but the law here says she must not live in the home and must be supporting herself....but if she leaves home, they will report her a runaway, so I don't see any way out of that one.

Any advice or help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Not 9/11 that's for sure. He's known all along Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. So what changed his mind about the chances of success in Iraq? What he said in 1994 is exactly what has come about. What events happened in the world to make his original stance about invading Iraq change so drastically? Really interested in thoughts from both sides of the aisle. Thanks.

I've got two stories. My first story was when I went to school a little stuffed up and sneezing because i slept with my cat the night before. When walking down the hall to class a student said hey jake your eyes are red you looked stoned. We then went to class and continued normally. Apparently a teacher overhead my friend saying "you looked stoned" and the dean of students was called down to take me out of class for a little "chat". I had to go down to the office and be asked "are you high young man" and have my back pack be searched then have my pockets be emptied. It was at this time I was feeling better cuz my allergies started to wear off. There was absolutely no evidence I was high or under any sort of influence from my pockets or backpack. Were my rights abused?
My second story is:
I've got a friend whose mom is a teacher at a completely different school. Her mom wanted to find out who I was so she asked some other teachers about me and what I was like.

What are the laws pertaining to carrying/possessing/transporting, etc. blank guns and ammo? Considering it has the orange tip in the barrel, and your not committing a crime. heres a situation, I'm "transporting" a blank pistol is my glove box (for protection, i live in a bad city). and i know what your thinking... "For protection? ITS A BLANK GUN!"). its gonna give me the time i need to make an escape, apprehend them and stop them from mugging/hurting me. and as long as i didnt pull it on a cop or law enforcement officer.. Its just sitting in my glove box.Thats neither here nor there, its a hypathetical question. (i could even lie to the cop and say i was borrowing it from a friend to train my dog). Just let me know what the laws are.

Please dont give your "Opinion" on what it could possibly be. I need proof of federal law or ohio law. or a story about yourself that involving a blank gun. Thanks

A cop pulled me over a couple nights ago for going "roughly 80". The cop took a really negative tone with me because he thought I had a radar detector that I hid when he pulled me over, which I did not. Him and his partner kept making an allusion to me having on and when I insisted I didn’t the officer just got more irritated. I asked the officer if he had even caught me on radar and he told me he did not. When I received the ticket he wrote 80+ on how fast I was going. My question being police can just "guesstimate" your speed? And if I do fight the ticket in court what is my rights on the officer not officially ever getting my speed down?
