How is it possible hat the nazi king wire tappers, with all their high-tech email sniffers, phone call taps, and who knows what god-like ability to spy on citizens;

how is it even possible that they managed to *accidently* delete million of emails regarding what justices to fire and for what reasons?

The terms "liberal" and "conservative" are thrown around so indiscriminately in Yahoo! Answers that I believe many of us truly do not know what each means. I think the divide between the two is not as wide a many think and that many confuse political partisanship with an understanding of ideology. I am looking for a clear definition of each. I have my own definition but it is not important that your definition and mine be the same. I will consider clear, respectful answers only. No crap about how liberals love Osama bin Laden and abort babies for fun and how conservatives want to crucify gays and think everyone should carry a gun.

Also please avoid using the names of politicians or modern political parties unless absolutely necessary.

argued for many years that they werent cowards, and that they were suffering fron post traumatic stress disorder, they were found guilty of leaving their posts, after being found wandering around.

finally a few years ago they were all pardoned by the goverenment, as it was accepted that they were suffering from PTSD,

they were all posthomously buried with honours, but the british government says it cannot apologise as the present british government was not responsible for the original decision of execution. i believe that as the government represents the british people and the country as a whole and not just the present day, i believe that the government should apologise to the children and grandchildren of these soldiers, on behalf of all the country past and present, what do you think

I am a conservative and I don't support the Iraq War. Gun Control is for wussies for who are afraid of guns, abortion kills babies because their mother was irresponsible and most likely a worthless, fithy prostitute, national health care raises taxes, and marriage is between a man and woman, not 2 men. I cannot see wy anyone besides the poor and mentally ill would want to be a liberal. The only good thing they are for is labor unions.

Dem V Rep? Lib V Con? or something else? I recently read an article questioning this very thing. In it, the author points out that it is the wealthy elite who are trying to keep us divided,in an attempt to conquer us, (We The People), to maintain power. I've seen many of us passionately divided on many things, but we did come out of our respective boxes to rally against illegal immigration. None of the great moral issues of the day have ever been voted on by "we the people". The elitists have used the courts to ram a new America down our throats. If our elected officials really want to represent our values, why don’t they let us determine what those values are by referendum? They certainly aren't listening to us.
In concluding the author reveals it is more an issue of "The Elite" v "We The People" and I have to concur. Thoughts?

Bush claims that US forces are arresting thousands of 'insurgence'. Where are all of these people being held, under what circumstance and for how long? Whose paying for them? Does the Red Cross inspect these facilities? Why are there always more of these guys?

I live in the state of Texas and the law for firearms is that you have to be atleast 18 to purchase a rifle/shotgun including assault weapons or 21 for a pistol....my first choice would be a pistol but I'm only 19...before you jump to any conclusions thinking that I'm a young delinquent trying to cause trouble....I live with only my mom so I'm pretty much the man of the house...We've had a lot of problems with some of her boyfriends...we've called the cops on them...I've fought them off...we've got restraining orders but now they've moved to vandalizing our things while we aren't at the house...I feel as if this is the last resort to finally feel some comfort in living here....so basicly all I ask of you is if the State law is reinforced by all stores? There are only a few places to get some which are just mostly for hunting purposes only...I need something for self defense? Any suggestions? What and where to buy...anything would help at this point...thanks...

I mean every time I go onto Yahoo Answers in politics there are at least 3 or 4 prolifers talking about abortion.. I'm ProChoice but I can totally respect someone who is ProLife, But I would respect a prolifer even more if they would admit that abortion isn't the biggest issue facing Americans today..
