i really find it sick for people in congress to vote 'yes' on going to war. they're just sending people to die over seas. what can this country do instead of war? i mean, if everyone was on board to change everything. even the bad guys.

we get the world leaders to fight it out themselves. or just one person (representative) per country to fight it out.

Can the Bush administration declare any group or country they don't like as terrorists and claim that international laws and treaties don't apply to terrorists? Will they be declaring the whole country of France a terrorist group next to give them authority to invade and occupy France until the French see things GW's way? Or is it about time for the trials of George W. Hitler and Dick Goering for war crimes?

Whether right, wrong or indifferent, I ardently believe that we do not live in a time of human history that will see a woman or black man elected to the office of President. Do you think that by have Hillary and Barrack be the front runners for the Democratic party, they are handing the office back to Republicans for at least 4 more years? Very interested in others opinions on this subject.

I'm 17, and the other night my friend threw a bonfire. My friend and I got there around 9- 9:30 and we saw that there was a ton of alcohol and people we didn't know playing beer pong. We knew there was going to be alcohol that night, but we didn't bring it. Everyone at the party was getting really drunk, so my friend and I left and went to another friend's house where we were going to stay the night around 10:30. The party got busted around 1:30 and five people got arrested. In their questioning, 3/5 of the people said I had brought the alcohol. The cops called me in for questioning and I said I didn't bring anything. Can they still charge me? Is this just hearsay? What might happen because of this?

The Washington Times reported Friday that a new poll shows 45 % of Americans now support the war and the numbers are climing. The surge is working - Less US and Iraqi soldiers are being killed and wounded, far less Iraqi civilians are being killed, former Sunni and Shia militia are now working with American and coalition forces, Iraqi military units are coming online and are getting much better. Let us hope it all continues.

Petraeus is giving his Iraq report in about a month - if things continue to stabilize in Iraq we will definatley extend our mission there and finish the job. It looks as though we may just be able to salvage Iraq and give the Iraqi people a chance at peace and prosperity, as well as protect America - and the world - from terrorist attacks.

Lets finish the job America...we can do it!

Just commenting on my amusement with right wing Christian fundamentalists (or a great many of them). They viciously attack anything to do with Islam (or any other religion for that matter), and denounce them as naturally violent and evil... As they encourage more of a church role within the state, creating an America with fewer freedoms, and eagerly encouraging some sort of a ridiculous religious "crusade" against those who disagree with them (namely those of Islam or other religions).

Does anyone not see the hypocrisy and utter stupidity of this? I shall dare call them the "American Taliban".

A volunteer group headed by meteorologist Anthony Watts had found serious problems. Not only did sites fail to meet the NCDC's requirements, but encroaching development had put many in ridiculously unsuitable locations -- on hot black asphalt, next to trash burn barrels, beside heat exhaust vents, even attached to hot chimneys and above outdoor grills.

Should they continue to take the Super Moral pills so that Nancy Pepsi would wear a Wonder Woman outfit to work everyday.

Without the 100 hours of Super Hero moral pills the democrats are just barking in Congress now.
