I assume this ? is in response to them listing Fatah Al Islam a terrorist organization. Personally in this instance i have no problem with it, but this action is being used politically else companies like Chiquita and others who use right wing terrorists in central and south America would have their assets frozen as well for funding terrorism. There is also a listed terrorist group in Iraq called MKK (i think) that is anti Iranian, but the US is using them to help destabilize Iran. Then there is the Kurdish Iraqi group PKK where the US is only paying lip service to try and placate Turkey to stop them invading northern Iraq. At the moment Turkey are regularly shelling this groups base and positions inside Iraq without it getting much coverage in the MSM.

Well we must always look back at the definition of a terrorist, which is one who causes terror. Now, just because a nation, or several nations were to accuse another nation of being terroristic, or supporting terroristis activity, doesn't mean it's always accurate. I think whats best is for the United States to worry about their own shortcomings first, instead of people from over seas. What we have to do is find a way to spend more money for the education system rather than prison / defense systems which are evidently not beneficial to our nation or economy. Yes, and about the last question you asked, I do believe it's about time, because even they have been not following the rules which their country has been built upon, which is the constitution. Hopefully things will not remain the same and will change for the better and that we will succeed in our lives and live in peace.

Yes -- and upon doing so, can freeze any assets, ignore all constitutional prohibitions against warrantless searchess (per the recent changes to laws pushed through laws week).
He can also arrest and hold any person, even a US citizen, without charges. And he can convict people based solely on their association, without ever having committed any crime.
All of these are based on federal court cases that have already happened. And the Supreme Court has already confirmed Bush violated the federal war crimes statute (18 USC 2441, see Hamdan v. Rumsfeld).

You seriously need some time away from the left wing blogs and newspapers in this country.
FYI-Lebanese Islamists have long been suicide bombers and carried out some of the worst killings.
The group that is now being called a terrorist organization is a relatively new group, Fatah_al-Islam.
God help this country if a democrat wins in 2008. We will be a very very vulnerable target to the radicals in this world. In case you forgot check out hte 1990s when Clinton was President and we had SEVERAL attacks againsth the U.S. by Al Qaeda (6 attacks) and homegrown idiots as well.
Of course, we cant remember that because good ole bubba never did anything wrong.

Your name alone speaks for itself, and I've been on this forum enough to realize who is a troll, who isn't and who is merely baiting. If you really want good discourse and debate, quite with the accusations, change your name and for goodness sakes, GROW UP. If you can't do that... quit wasting our time. :)
