He also wants to install a tax for people who live in houses with a square footage over 3000 ft. Can anyone explain his reasoning for this? Or is this just a democrat living up to the definition of a democrat?

My gosh, they are jumping all over this whole Giuliani thing about him saying "he spent more time at ground zero than most of the workers". I understand that it is a presidential campaign but when are the liberal forerunners going to start building themselves up rather than breaking others down?

Giuliani is and will always be a New Yorker and if you have any intelligence you would know that the last thing Giuliani would do is take cracks and emergency responders. He is proud of how his city reacted and he believes (and I truly believe) that he deserves a lot of credit for the leadership he showed after the attacks.
The liberals need to keep their mouths shut on this topic as obviously there was no intent to defame any of the responders. The only reason they call him out on it is because they can get political gain off of someone elses mistake. This was taken way out of context.
What are your thoughts?

do you normally tell people to ignore people in hopes that it wont effect them,
or do you tell people to tell a friend or authority figure if someone is bugging you, in hopes that it is the most realistic way to solve a problem??

because right now there are a lot of questions about people like lips, and some people say ignore them, and some people say they need to report them or gang up on them

Suggestion for resolution of bringing troops home from Iraq:

Keep in mind we want them to be governed by the people and for the people.

1. Get the people registered as the political/religious following. Sunni, Shiite, Turk or what ever.
2. Divide the country in to states by this political belief, Create a central (federal) government with representatives voting on laws and financial topics.
3. Use our troops to protect the voters. This is a double edge sword, it will make us perform a useful task there and might draw out the insurgents making them easier to find.
4. Have elections with questions like:
 Would you like the NATO forces to leave.
Note if they voted to have us leave it would give us an excuse to bow out gracefully even if the whole situation went to s*^& after we left.

BRING OUR BOYS HOME

What do you think about separating local political factions into states with a central (Federal government.

Also I’d like to see what others think in America.

I am writing a statement about an employee who stole things. I would like to get this notorized but I want to remain anonymous because I don't want people to know that I reported it. Is it possible to get it notorized and if I just sent the letter with pictures of the stolen items to the director without notorization would she believe me?

1) Should the government tell a church what to do or say?
If you say that as long as the church follows the law of government, government should not dictate what the church says or teaches - then consider that slavery was once the law.

2) Should the church stand against what is wrong, going against the government? (the catholic church has taken much criticism about not speaking up agianst Hitler).

3) If something is true, is it wrong to say? (don't take the easy escape out with "who decides what is wrong" or "your wrong may not be my wrong" - we all know basic right & wrong i.e. murder, stealing etc).

Serious answers only please because I have seen a lot of people dancing around the issues on other questions today & I really want to hear what your view is. Thank you.

My friends dad has some woman living with him (g/f). What rights does she have to the house he shared with his deceased wife??

My dad and my next door neighbors recently got in an argument or something, and when we went on vacation they built a large fence (only on our side) and posted signs all over our side that said "no trespassing private property," "beware of dog," and "KEEP OUT!"

I'm glad they built the fence since all they do is sit in their swim suits and drink all day, but I would really prefer that they take those obnoxious signs off as it pretty much ruins are back yard, and it's not like we even go in their yard anyway so it's just to be mean. I decided to ask them myself, since I've never had any problems with them myself, and they just started yelling and saying that they'd sue if I took down the signs (it's like 1 inch into their property).

So what should I do?
