do you normally tell people to ignore people in hopes that it wont effect them,
or do you tell people to tell a friend or authority figure if someone is bugging you, in hopes that it is the most realistic way to solve a problem??

because right now there are a lot of questions about people like lips, and some people say ignore them, and some people say they need to report them or gang up on them

It all depends on what they are saying and how much bull s*** you're willing to put up with.Everyone has their limits.I put up with someone going around for two years talking trash about me before I finally confronted him and pushed him around a bit.But from then on the problem was taken care of.You just have to let people know where you draw the line. Some people on the other hand you can ignore,if you notice that nobody listens to them anyway, then they are somebody you don't need to worry about. But like I said people have their limits. Some can take a lot of crap like me,and some won't put up with it for a second. But I do know from experience that the threat of bodily harm gets people to leave you alone.

If speaking to someone has any chance of resolving or avoiding a problem -- I strongly advocate communication.

It after several attempts it becomes obvious that you are wasting your time, and that the other person is not going to listen, then after a certain point ignoring them is your best option.

I was under the impression that this was a free forum and you could ask questions or offer answers , but, some people want to censor it and no one can ask or answer unless it appeases them, they are quite sick and need real help,
