Bill Clinton served the maximum 2 terms as president. Only one president in US history has served more than 2 terms. FDR died in his fourth term and shortly after we made two terms the limit.
Having said that, yes a former 2 term president can be vice president. I am curious what the courts would say if the president died and therefore the VP was to become president but then again it says can't be elected twice and Johnson could have ran a second time after serving out Kennedy's term and one of his own...

There has never been an 8 term president. The most terms for a president was FDR who served 4. After that the Constitution was changed to make the maximum 2 terms. Since Bill Clinton has served two terms in office he can not run for the Vice Presidency since he could have to assume the office of President if the President died or resigned.

No, I heard that question ask of Bill Clinton and he answered that you cannot appoint your family to any office , that is stopped with Jack and Booby Kennedy. He said he would be happy to help Hillary with anything she needed for him to do , but he can go around the world like Laura on tax payers money flying in jets to other countries you just don't get a salary. I hope he goes to all the foreign countries and gets them back with United States again with his fantastic Foreign Policy . All the other countries love Bill Clinton , we have them all back ready to help in anyway we ask if Bill Clinton visits them and ask for their help or just calls them , they will be back in the fold once more. They all hate George Bush, 2 months ago they voted and George Bush was voted the most hated leader of all the countries by all other countries.

Bill Clinton served eight terms? That would mean he was elected before Jimmy Carter. At age 28. Wow.

If you mean "8-year" president -- no.
The Constitution imposes the same limits on VP as it does on President -- specifically, someone not eligible to be President cannot be VP.
12th Amendment: "But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States."

He could be ineligible to function vp. The final clause in the 12th modification says, "yet no person constitutionally ineligible to the place of work of President would be eligible to that of Vice-President of united statesa.."
