He also wants to install a tax for people who live in houses with a square footage over 3000 ft. Can anyone explain his reasoning for this? Or is this just a democrat living up to the definition of a democrat?

You're on the right track there, Classic96. I believe that the Democrats believe that the answer to ANY problem, as they see it, is more taxes.

The government already gets the largest profit from each gallon of gas. The problem is that we waste so much domestically and do not give people incentives to be productive which in turn produces more tax revenue (at lower rates). For instance, in my town we have an old covered bridge that hasnt been used in nearly 30 yrs. They actually got $750,000 to rebuild this fricken bridge when we could use that money to pave or repair roads that are actually used. This happens all over.

Its just another excuse for them to get into our pockets,,and even if........we proved tommorow we are not causeing global warming it happens aa a natrual cycle of cooling and heating...are you Foolish enough to think they would say" Hey we started this tax but now we know we cant do anything about it..We will give your money back to you and resind the tax" yeah right and if you believe that ive got some beachfront land im going to sell you real cheap....And if We get hit with a dirty bomb in one of our citys whats wrong with nuking Meca cept lets pig guts into the warhead as well!!!

It's a stupid idea..we already pay enough taxes on gasoline..and taxing the size of your is really stupid..that's what I hate about liberals..they want to take our freedoms away..oh yes they do..by dictating the size of your and next it will be your..enough already
