He is dumping billions of dollars to try and help the predatory loans practices of lenders who have once again spent ten years making crazy loans and making huge salaries and profits from it knowing full well that it was going to fail .

It was just another scam .

SO why is it, honest, working, tax paying Americans get stuck footing the bill for these obviously criminal scams perpetrated on the people .

Those who created these loan programs sold them and profited from them made billions and now when its all going to come tumbling down the government is going to bail it out .

Are you as sick and tired of rich criminals walking away with millions for their criminal acts .

I know a man who migrated to Australia in the 1970's. He never stops going on and on about his old country and how it is the best place in the world but he has lived here longer than he lived there. He married an Australian woman and his kids were all born here. He still celebrates all the holidays of his former country even though they mean nothing here. He gets really angry if anyone says anything even a little bit negative about his old country and he says negative things about Australia sometimes. Do you think this is ok - to come to another country and still love the country he left? Should people totally reject their old country and culture when they migrate to another?

Why the American soldiers’ morality contradicts with what they advertise in their movies? We have all seen American movies portraying American soldiers as brave merciful and decent, but the reality in Iraq and Afghanistan reveals the opposite. A very huge percentage of the American soldiers in these countries rape women and children, murder innocent civilians, break into houses, and even steal. Why doesn’t the government send them prostitutes to keep them off our sisters? Or better yet, punish them? Aren’t they considered terrorists, too? And not to forget the Abu Graib prison scandal? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abu_Ghraib_prisoner_abuse

And why would Bush veto it if it passed? The only objection I can read is that it wouldn't help lower prices much...which no evidence supports.
It already passed the House.

dont you?

Here is my logic. If the federal gvt had 50% less money, than thats 50% less money they would have to waste and spend recklessly. If the states had more revenue, at least we would know the money would be spent more on the very tax payers from which it comes from...and here at home in the USA for american citizens.

I am not a big states rights advocate, for I believe that many policies in this country need to be uniform across the board, but I think federal govt wastes a lot of money.

Should a virtual state, a state with no common boundary, be offered the the Native American Nations? As such, Native Americans would be allowed 2 senators and representatives in the house in proportion to their population.
What about it? Is it time that the first Americans have their own voice in the affairs of government of their native country?

I want to END welfare completely and replace it with CCC and government work programs. This will save the government money, get a lot of work done and make people earn their checks.
We need to also get these people to "do the work Americans won't do) this will keep the jobs unavailible to illegals.
We need to STOP blamming the "man" for our problems and get off our asses and make things happen.
The government should make a public verbal apology for slavery.
Unemployment insurrance should stay but you should have to prove you are searching for jobs to get the check.
We need to end black history month because it only keeps hatred alive and is not fair to all the other races.
But we should be learning history of all cultures and making new history ever

HI I was just curious about the legal options concerning personal letters. I run a website where I write to serial kilers and post their letters on the web for everyone to see and read ( http://www.Write-A-Murderer.com ). I have 2 questions.

First off I have recieved several emails from people over what the inmates wrote about them. This is nothing I wrote and the letters are all scanned directly into the computer just as they wrote them. Is there any legal action the people can take against me since I wasn't the one who wrote the letters I just scanned them in for everyone to read. Also is there anything stopping me from posting the emails they sent me on the web as well for everyone to read?

Secondly, I have recieved letters from inmates that were not sent to me but to someone else who copied them and then forwarded the copies to me. They are now mad that I posted these on the website as well is there any laws against posting these?

It's no surprise, no new idea, the government has been gradually taking our rights and claiming it enhances our freedom.

We pay over 30% (not to mention the taxation that occurs when you purchase items) of our hard earned paychecks to this establishment yet never see any notable return.

Constantly we are made aware of dangers in other places to keep interest off our own land, moot points that never matter become huge stories to dwell on.

The media informs us only of the horrible, tragic things happening, keeping people trained to their tv set rather than going outside to live.

When will this end?

Why won't more people get concerned about this and take interest in their world?

It is not only their lives and future that are at stake but also the lives of their children are affected by everything that is happening right now.

IF having a more efficient government and a greater quality of living meant being taken over by another country, would you be for it? If not, then what % of efficiency would it take for you to become governed by another country. Or rather, what changes must be made, for you to agree to this? State your country of residence if you like.
