Here are the divorce rates, if you want to figure out yourself which are "blue" or "red" : http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0923080.html

Here's an article analyzing divorce rates by "red " and "blue" : http://www.nytimes.com/2004/11/14/weekinreview/14pamb.html?ex=1258174800&%2338;en=4f927c5f27fb9966&%2338;ei=5090

That's an interesting question. Now that I think about it, Almost everyone I know in my current state of Georgia has been divorced. Several have been married and divorced more than twice. But only two of my friends when I lived in Pennslyvania were divorced. I've noticed the south has a lot more people that have been divorced several times. So maybe there is some truth to what you ask.

yes but I can't find the site that says that- I read that article a long time ago but it was within a year that I read it.

-and actually I think gay people would, at least for now, divorce less. they only have a few states with marriage/civil unions and are fighting so much for that right I doubt many will take it for granted. and some couples have been together for years. I watched about one couple together for 30 years and just got married in 2005, I can't see them and others like them divorcing anytime soon -

That would truly be an immaterial statistic. There are conservatives and liberals in blue states. There are conservatives who out number liberals in red states. My suspicion is that conservatives are more likely to marry. Liberals are more likely to live together then leave when they get tired of the arrangement.

There are NO blue states vs red states. There are blue CITIES, but for the most part, MOST rural areas in just about ALL states, are red.

YES!!!!!
Because most couples in Blue States are of the Same Sex.

Blue States don't have many male/female marriages......so they can't have many divorces.
Go to a Blue State and yell: "sex". Most of the men will bend over.
COOL!!!!!!!!

I don't have to research your question.

I know from watching the Clintons that anything goes in a lib marriage and therefore, there can never be reason for divorce.

Hillary has taught me that much if nothing else.

caifornia, new york, illinois, etc...

are you kidding me???

although the loophole may be the high number of gays in these states...which lowers the number of marriages.....
