Even more die from perscription drug use, and we even had someone die from BEN GAY recently. There have never been any reported overdoses or deaths from marijuana.

So why is marijuana still illegal? I believe politicians do not have enough information to make a sound decision about marijuana legalization. I also believe that politicians who work for the interest of big business feel that marijuana smokers typically do not have the ideal mindset to support a greedy capitalist nation.

Florida Republican state Representative Bob Allen (McCain Florida co-chair) was willing to do the deed on a plainclothes policeman for $20. After declaring the Democratic party as Godles, the glass house of the Republican party sure is getting some broken windows.

First of all, let me add the word "liberterian" didn't even exist back then.

NOW TO THE QUOTE

PRIVATE CHARITIES ALONE ARE NOT SUFFICIENT TO ADDRESS POVERTY
"There are, in every country, some magnificent charities established by individuals. It is, however, but little that any individual can do, when the whole extent of the misery to be relieved is considered. He may satisfy his conscience, but not his heart. He may give all that he has, and that all will relieve but little. It is only by organizing civilization upon such principles as to act like a system of pulleys, that the whole weight of misery can be removed... The plan here proposed will reach the whole. It will immediately relieve and take out of view three classes of wretchedness-the blind, the lame, and the aged poor; and it will furnish the rising generation with means to prevent their becoming poor; and it will do this without deranging or interfering with any national measures."

Here is a descent hard working god fearing Christian that deserves your respect. This man served his country flying jets in the National Guard until his HONORABLE discharge. He earned a Harvard MBA!

Just an all around great guy who has brought Honor and Dignity back to the White House after those awful Clinton years.

You have to admit LIBS. It's kind of nice having a President who does not spend all his time in front of special prosecutors, Grand Juries and Impeachment Hearings! My family was embarrassed that the President Clinton disgraced the office like that. Now, they look at Bush with pride!

Most Republicans don't know jack about Fred Thompson but he is the front runner because he is an "Actor". They elected Arnold the "Governator" in Cali and he turned out to be a liberal. They loved Ronald Reagan because he could give a good speech and looked pretty good. They elected Jessie "The Body" Ventura in Minnesota a few years ago. Then you have other celebs like former Oklahoma star QB J C Watts, Tom Osborne the former Nebraska head coach and Steve Largent the hall of fame wide out from Seattle. They'll elect spoil rich brats like George W and Jeb Bush too. Then want Paris Hilton’s head on a platter when George W and his daughters made the same mistakes as Paris. My question is do you believe Republicans love Celebs so much that they elect them into office Strictly from name recognition? Who is Mitt Romney anyway? I actually heard a Republican strategist say he's a good candidate because he "LOOKS" like a President. I'm not trying to start a fight. I just noticed how hypocritical this is

“We know that if we have intense military presence in a certain neighborhood, we can drive the violence down,” she said. “But we also know that the violence doesn’t cease, it just pops up somewhere else because the Iraqi government is not pursuing any political track that can lead to a resolution of the outstanding issues.”

“I see no reason for us to continue to send our young men and women into harm’s way,” Clinton said. “The Americans cannot want peace and stability for Iraq more than the Iraqis want it for themselves.”

I won't be voting for her, but I do agree with both of these comments.

Your thoughts, please.

Nothing is moving north or south. Suddenly,a man knocks on his window. The driver rolls down his window and asks, "What happened?" "What's the hold up"?

Terrorists have kidnapped Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and John Kerry. They are asking for a $10 million ransom. Otherwise, they are going to douse them with gasoline and set them on fire.

We are going, car to car, taking up a donation.

The driver asks, " how much, on average, is everyone giving"?

About a gallon.

Isn't it time to stop and look at what the left is all about? Anti-war activist shoots and kills a 22 year old Air Force serviceman. I'm sure the murderer in this case also never thought he would never go that far as to actually kill someone either.

For the record, I think Hillary Clinton is Satan in the flesh, but that's besides the point. I'm worried that a lot of women out there, particularly the ones who normally don't even care about politics and don't ever vote, are going to vote for Hillary just because they wanna see a female president. Everyone has the right to vote for whoever they want, but voting for a woman just to see her in the white house is stupid. Anyone else think this could be an issue?

The hospital just has to take the baby and you can go? I know its to prevent babies from getting thrown into trash bins, but what would stop someone from taking someone else's baby? You could just take a baby you find on the street, drop if off at the hospital, and the parents might never see it again. You could make it a weekly hobby and no one could ever ask questions. How is that prevented?

carbon pollution?
How many of you know that many states offer grant money and low interest loans to install photovoltaic cells on your roof? How many know that a lot of localities give property tax breaks to homes with photovoltaic systems? How many know the federal government gives income breaks to those who install photovoltaic systems?
People who complain about greenhouse gases think the government has done nothing to combat it. With free grant money, low cost loans, and tax breaks, the government has supplied the means for you to do something about it.
If you are concerned about global warming and you own a roof, you can actively do something about cutting emissions.

I may not know all the regulations of federal elections....why is it that there is always such a shortage of voters at all the national elections....sometimes it's enough to make me think that there are just too many that are selfish and don't give a hoot as to where this country is going with its current leaders...someday it will be too late I tend to think sometimes. Don't you agree?

My dad says he has never done better financially. I have 5 brothers and sisters so right there my dad saves $2,500 just on the increase in the child tax credit. Not to mention the elimination of the marriage penatly. Why Clinton was punishing married couples I will never know. My trades a lot of stocks and my dad says Bush's reduction in the capital gains rate is putting me & my brother through college. Thanks Mr. Bush. I will have no loans when I graduate thanks to you!

Well the other day my friend that goes out almost every weekend and gets along with my ex told me that he has been bouncing at 2 different clubs for about a year now. How do I go about turning the jerk-off in?

We have a close neighbor who has about 10 cats, that I know of... I may not be counting properly... but I know there are 5 kittens, a female (who had the kittens probably 3 months ago) a male tabby... and 2 or 3 black and white grown cats - not sure on the gender.

Our neighbors have not tried to get rid of any of the 5 kittens, and now they are getting almost too old to be given away. The mom is now in heat again, and we've seen her getting some "action" from the male tabby.

I'm expecting to see even more cats... I love cats, but I'm sick of the pooping in my flowerbeds and over-running the small col-de-sac we live in... and the cat fights at night!!! They're scary!

What can I do? The neighbors how "own" all these cats don't seem to care about them, besides feeding them and letting them breed more.

(Don't get me wrong, I love cats and have one...but I can just see at least a few of these kittens getting pregnant and having MORE, along with their mother)!!!

Is this really a legitimate comunity driven site, or is it left-wing satire? I know the steroetype of conservatives is that anything they don't agree with or doesn't fit thier worldview/agenda will be met with a claim of liberal bias. But this site is over the top. I really can't believe it's actually driven by the conservative community. So, is Conservapedia a farce?
