Because he's a hypocritcal idiot who abuses his power and refuses to follow the laws that he had sworn to uphold.
He's lied to the people, blatently ignored the limitations that our forefathers put into place to prevent abuse and is acting as a dictator, not a president.
There is no honour in lies, and there is no dignity in ignorance.
So Clinton got a blow - job; at least he didn't spit in the face of our constitution.
As a christian, I Refuse to call Bush one.
-Anyone- can go to church; it takes more than waving a bible to actually be a christian. No christian would deny a child food and shelter, or deny an honest man aid in his time of need. No christian would make himself richer off of another man's misfortune. And a Christian, is the first to ask for forgiveness when they do wrong; instead of remain in denial.

Hard working? Before becoming governor of Texas, the man never held a real job in his life, relying instead on his father's friends to get him positions running companies that invariably failed. He was the face of the Texas Rangers despite holding a very small minority share. Despite his failures, he managed to make big profits upon leaving all of these positions. He has spent more time on vacation than any other president. God fearing Christian? He presided over 165 executions and started an unnecessary war. He spent virtually no time flying jets while in the Texas Air National Guard. Clinton spent time in front of special prosecutors and impeachment hearings because the Republican congress felt these were better ways of spending their time than actually serving their constituents. Lies and incompetence are not things to be proud of, sorry.

For one, I really dislike how Clinton's affair has overshadowed his entire political career.
But to the main point. Bush is anywhere from a decent hard working American. He was born in raised in rich household and has been placed at the head of numerous failed business ventures, including an oil company (seriously, how do you cause an oil company to go bankrupt). He appears only to be a god-fearing Christian when it helps his political stance, and never anywhere else. We can take for instance Terry Schiavo; Bush became the moral Christian saying the feeding tube should stay in, even though it's only been some time when Christians were complaining that medical equipment like the feeding tube messes with God's will.
You say he has brought back honor and dignity. He may have by your standards, but I am here now to tell you that your standards are REALLY low, and that most of the world agrees with me.
Clinton was really great about leading our country during the 1990's, and if you seem to judge people on is whether or not they like getting BJ's, then you need to be more open-minded.

There are many things to look at here, so I'll start where I can. Bush has not been in front of special prosecutors because he constantly uses executive privilege to deny anyone access to him. Therefore, he is essentially hiding from any responsibility until his term runs out.
That a man is 'god fearing' and 'christian' does not matter to me. What does this have to do with decent foreign policy, national policy, or any duties which the president performs. Indeed, morality and things of that nature are good qualities to have, but I'd rather have an intelligent, qualified president who sleeps around rather than an unqualified one who is moral, and doesn't drink anymore.
His service in the national guard, as are his academic qualifications are questionable. The national guard ones more so than the academics - to serve in the national guard was done through family privilege and certainly avoids serving in war areas. In terms of education, legacy plays a huge part in determining acceptance for certain students - if you have a legacy at Ivy, your foot's in the door. GW maintained a wonderful C average at Yale as an undergrad - although I have to admit in full disclosure, that apparently a lot of our presidents and presidential candidates have had pretty poor academic records.
If your family looks at Bush with pride, then indeed they agree with his policies - which I find abominable. The secrecy and integration of ridiculous national policy which allows the government to become more of a big brother is, in my opinion, ludicrous. On top of this, Bush has alienated the rest of the world with his "cowboy diplomacy".
I don't know, bad national policy combined with terrible foreign policy, to me this spells a president who SHOULD be disliked.
Aside from this though, how Bush responded to 9/11, which I found to be deplorable, will indeed only be judged through history's lens over time - his policy has certainly shaped US policy for the next couple of decades, so we'll see.
In all, I think this president is of sub-par intelligence, has terrible ideas regarding freedom and security, and has NO dignity whatsoever - I don't like him, and I think the reasons for dislike are pretty clear.

If this man is a God fearing Christian, he'd be honest and tell the American people the truth. He promised the war would last a few months maximum, here we are 4 1/2 years later. He promised to clear things up after the Libby scandal, now he says it's "old news". He continues to break promises and be dishonest.
He served his country by being in the National Guard but was too chicken to go to Viet Nam and had his family connections make sure he didn't have to go. As far as his MBA goes, it sure hasn't helped him learn to speak in front of people or put together a coherent sentence. The leader of America should be able to to this! The man speaks as if he has an 8th grade education for crying out loud!
I think (many) American people will be surprised when they learn the extent of the corruption that has been perpetrated by this administration. THAT'S WHY I DON'T LIKE OUR PRESIDENT!

I'm speechless. Are we talking about the same president? The one who was in the champagne unit of the National Guard and didn't fly one stinkin mission in Vietnam that I'm aware of. The only reason he got into Harvard was because he was a legacy. I mean seriously, have you heard his speeches?
The only reason he hasn't spent anytime in front of grand juries and the like is because he screams executive privilege at the drop of the hat, not only for him but for anyone in his administration. He thumbs his nose at our constitution and does nothing to honor it, which is his job!
He has brought no honor and dignity to anything as far as I'm concerned. He's an embarrassment.

Bush's entire staff has spent their time in front of grand juries. Being a God fearing Christian is not a prerequisite to being President of the USA.
People "hate" for two reasons.
1. Conservatives hate him because he has not follow through with ANY of the GOP platform. He has expanded government spending, done nothing to privatize social security, has not curbed government waste. In fact the only conservative thing he has EVER done was veto the stem cell bill.
2. Democrats and Third Party supporters "hate" him because he entered us into the Iraq war without a clear plan, and on false information. It is a fact that plans to attack Iraq were laid by his staff before Bush 43 even took the oath...they were just waiting for a "Pearl Harbour" (as quoted by Rumsfeld) type attack to gain popular support.

You have got to be kidding. I would rather have a Pres get a bj than one whose policies are crap, but is too suborn to change them or to listen to anyone other Satan...err, Cheney.
Have you met the wife from 7th heaven? I think you 2 have a lot in common. You should meet. You can run around in meadows filled with happy deer and fluffy bunny rabbits, skipping and singing about how wonderful everything is... Oh, and if you're smoking something, may I have some? I could use a break from reality...
Edit: I do appreciate your free speech stance though; I'll give you that.

Actually i dont dislike Bush at all, as a matter of fact I think spending an evening with him would be interesting, seems like a decent enough guy.
But as president I think he has been totally wrong, misguided, and way too stubborn to change course when his policies dont work.
I have siblings that I love to death but hate the choices they make.
