How come it is hard to find anything on crimes committed by people who work in the judicial system? Is this kept hush hush because of the back lash it could cause? It seems like every time I look at CNN there is a story about some police officer or lawyer or judge who has been charged with breaking the law yet there is no info I can find when I google how much of this really goes on! I have read though that less then half of the crimes committed by these people are actually reported! I know they are human beings to but if you take that oath then you should be held to a higher standard then the general population! Because these people have the ability to ruin a persons life on a whim if they want! I know from from people that I know that work in the system and others that have been charged with B.S. (and I know it is B.S.!) because it makes they official look good even though it is at the expense of anothers life! I know there are a lot of honest ones out there but there are bad ones!

I purchased a 2002 PT Cruiser form a usde car dealer. I was told the transmission was recently overhauled, but I have no written proof of this. I have had nothing but trouble with the trani ever sence. It has left me stranded out of twon twice, and this last time prevented me from getting to an even for which I am now out a lot of money. The 1st time, I had the filter replaced, which I was told was the original filter on a trani with 80k miles on it, and it ran fine untill last weekend while traveling the interstate, the speedometer went out, the the trani did to. I have had it looked at by a chrysler expert, as well as a 2nd opinion from a regular mechanic, they both said the trani is shot and has to be replaced. I have only had this car for 3 months, and I baught it out right. Does the dealer I got it from have any legal responsilility for the trani replacement, or am I now stuck with the bill? Is there anything I can do?

I listen to so much uninformed, media fed, partisan, indoctrinated rubbish on here, it convinces me America has lost it's greatness.

Just returned from 3 weeks in the UK, and I am thinking of permanent citizenship.

I just can't stand the IGNORANCE and ARROGANCE here any longer

These men have been in office too long in my opinion, over 20 years. AMericans are sick of congress not representing us.

Are any of these people from your state?

Why would you vote for them again?

Why should they be voted out?

WASHINGTON - Senators urging the passage of a bill that would legalize millions of illegal immigrants hope to revive bipartisan support for the embattled measure and push it to passage by week's end.

President Bush's team is predicting victory Tuesday on the effort to allow the bill — among the president's top domestic priorities — to go forward.

"We're optimistic," said Joel Kaplan, Bush's deputy chief of staff. "Our intelligence suggests that there will be the votes there."

Conservative critics who paint the measure as amnesty for lawbreakers, however, said their efforts to stop the legislation were gaining momentum

Since 2000 the number of foriegn tourists visiting america has dropped 20% partially due to Bush foriegn policy but mainly because of the restrictions placed on foriegners (treating them like criminals and wanting all their personal information I.e. credit card details and other records) who wants to holiday there. Now instead of just wanting a thumb print and a photo of the visitor (even if you are from a visa waiver country) they want all ten fingerprints and an iris scan or other biometrics. In 1996 i had a great holiday in the US skiing and up until recently i wanted to go back and try other ski resorts there, but why should i be treated like a criminal just because i want a holiday.
I have been to India, China, South Africa and many places around Europe without having to reveal as many details as the US wants (even with having to get visa's).
I have decided i will never visit the US again as long as they continue to treat law abiding with such contempt.

People who have part time jobs are really s.o.l. when they have jury duty. They theoretically can't be fired, but they lose their hourly pay and it can really be an economic hardship, can't it? I loved doing it now that I have a full time job and get pd. anyway, but when I used to be part time, I'd lose $100+ a day and get "paid" $12 for jury duty!! Then i was so mad when the case was a slip and fall. There I was being used and abused so someone could get rich quick for falling. Justice???
And no, I wouldn't want 12 morons deciding my case. I think a panel of judges would be just fine.

Ellis Island is a symbol of America’s immigrant heritage. From 1892 to 1954, this immigrant depot processed the greatest tide of incoming humanity in the nation’s history. Nearly twelve million landed here in their search of freedom of speech and religion, and for economic opportunity.

So it took 62 years to legally process 12 million Legally? 193 thousand a year! Congress Is trying to make it seem like all of us crammed through in a few weeks!

See Now congress works so efficiantly they can get 20 miilion though in a few weeks. Our Government is selling us out on this one................

ABC News had Cheney 2day. SO that is current. No link for the other this week. Are the polls off? So then the system is flawed? Hillary Clinton and the rest their numbers? Flawed? And we speculate living on these numbers. What do you think? I am not excited about the VP but feel he should be able to be in control where the documents go. The National Archives can not be a guarantee of anything but a complete expose. SO where are the documents Sandy Berger destroyed altering the 9-11 Commission Report? Bring it on. Full disclosure, each party and elected official. You can not look into one w/out the others.
And if Dick Cheney has better numbers than the bunch on the hill? What does that say? Thanks alot. Appreciate solid answers and less bashing here. Mahalo.
