Which president do you want to win the election......B. Obama or H. Clinton?
(Oh and I've got some E-mail asking if my avatar is me, and yes) I look a lot older in my picture, I'm only 14. They put make-up on me and stuff.

The conservative activists on the Supreme Court decreed in a series of 5-4 decisions:
* Individuals, who believe their tax dollars are being
unconstitutionally misused by the White House to promote religious beliefs, aren't allowed to enter a courthouse to make their case.
* The Environmental Protection Agency can avoid its responsibilities under the Endangered Species Act, even though it's a law reflecting the public will as passed by the democratically-elected Congress.
* Corporations can once again use their checkbooks to flood the public airwaves with political ads during election season, again overruling Congress.
It's critical to recognize these decisions -- along with earlier decisions to end privacy between a woman and her doctor, and to make it harder to challenge pay discrimination -- are part of a pattern. FROM Bill Scher

My auxiliary police dept has training on Friday.. we are doing pepper spray, crowd control, and riot stuff. If we attend, I imagine we are getting pepper sprayed. Now.. how does this work? We stand there and get sprayed, where are our hands, etc? Or We learn about it?

First Coulter wished the NY Times building would be hit by terrorists. Now Coulter has wished that John Edwards would be killed in a terrorist attack

Why does she keep wishing terrorist attacks on people? Is it because she's secretly a terrorist? Because she's just a bad person? Is she just using her normal tactic of saying stupid things to get attention? Or some combination therein?

A democracy is a system of government where the citizenry has the ability to govern themselves.

A republic is a system of government where an elite group governs in the name of the People.

This seems to be what is happening today in America. An elite group of people have made governing not just their priveledge but their careers. Is it true then, that we have a democracy when the Electoral College is still in effect and a popular vote can be overturned by the Supreme Court?

I am British and I believe that if we were to go to war with the USA we would be beaten pretty badly. I believe the British to be of a much higher quality than the USAs but they would dominate us due to their far superior in number and with all of their aircraft and tanks. Also I believe that in an all out war, no helicopters or artillery or jets, just infantry and tanks, the British would still lose but the Americans would take much higher losses than us due to the fact that we get better training etc. What do you all believe. By the way, I am not knocking the Americans, they are doing so well especially in the middle east (just in case any over sensitive yanks are out there)!

Your paid for vehicle is stolen, so you report it stolen, the police find it and take it to city impound lot and report and notify you that your car has been found, CASE CLOSED. You goes to impound lot and find your car striped you becomes ill and abandon the car. The car is then sold at auction in many cases to the person that has the parts to fix the your car in other words the thief. New title is issued on the spot. Next day car is resold on some used car lot. Is Organized crime involved, well for some reason your police chief looks the other way . Happens about 25,000 times a year in large cities

My fiance was found guilty of ccw, because it was in his car, now his friend has come to him and said that it was his gun and that he will confess to it, Can my fiance be cleared of this or will he still have to go to jail, my fiance was convicted two years ago for the same thing and that is why the found him guilty this time because he is not supposed to have guns.

I read on the internet that there are about 1000 American fast food restaurants in China. But I always thought that China is a communist state and they have a planned economy. Under a planned economy there is nothing as 'private property' and things are given by the state.

So how do their KFCs & McDonald's work? Do the government pays the company to give out the food or is it only for the top members of the communist party?

I ets out of Korea and have never been stationed in the States aside from basic and AIT. So I have no idea. But beer on post in Korea is much cheaper than what I'm paying here in Atlanta, Georgia. Since I still have my IRR ID I figure I get on post to buy beer. But before I waste a trip I figure I'll ask first. Is beer on post cheaper than beer you get outside. (Maybe some kind of duty exemption or something. I don't know)

I don't mean going through the courts and legally changing your name. I mean, like a gangsta or someone who's on the lamb, so to speak. If a person was to simply move to a different place where no one knows you, you can obviously use any name you want. But if you really want to establish a whole new life and get a different job, you'd need a drivers liscense, social security card, birth certificate, just for starters. So, seriously, how does a person change their persona????

I'm 20 and i have one year of school under my belt. I took a year off and worked full time. I'm at a point where I don't want to keep looking for a job but don't want to keep going to school either. I want to work in the medical field and I think the navy is my best choice for that. Can you go in as an officer with a two year degree or does it matter and if so, should I finish my two year Associates in Arts degree or just go in now? Does the type of degree matter?

Is it okay for a business to include full birth date on a credit card receipt?
i went to byerly's grocery (liquor store department) in eagan, mn and looked over my receipt, which included my full birth date along with the last four digits of my credit card number. Isn't printing my birth date on a credit card or cash purchase an invasion of my privacy? What would justify this? someone told me to post this under Law & Ethics.

I live on a road that a construction company uses to get to and from their facilities. The do a lot of blacktopping and their trucks that carry the tar leak it all over the road every day. This means my car is getting ruined every day!!! Who would I contact about this matter? The police? A city ordinance? Some other group that monitors/certifies the construction company? I can take the county fixing the road once a year, but I can't avoid driving on it every day!!! Thanks so much for any help.
