I read on the internet that there are about 1000 American fast food restaurants in China. But I always thought that China is a communist state and they have a planned economy. Under a planned economy there is nothing as 'private property' and things are given by the state.

So how do their KFCs & McDonald's work? Do the government pays the company to give out the food or is it only for the top members of the communist party?

KFCs and McDonald's in China are more likely privately owned but the communist system controls the economy. Communism does not mean that all businesses in the China are owned by the state because it is only an economic system.

China's gov't is administered semi-communistically. you won't have the ability to work out China's growth without some democracy...you probable counldnt see it without the gov't administration over maximum issues additionally even with the undeniable fact that. yet ya there are lots of quickly foodstuff right here (i'm in China properly suited now). And its extra high priced that "quickly chinese language foodstuff" yet maximum folk can take care of to pay for it. I see farmers from the country area at a close-by KFC lol. So maximum of what you think of are the misconceptions of a defective human beings lol. Btw if US nukes China, China nukes the U. S., then the international is going to HE## alongside with extra advantageous than a million/2 the worlds inhabitants (no longer conscious whether i will brazenly say this word or no longer without outcomes, so i'm going to play secure...)

China has been moving away from a planned economy since the 1980s. Private enterprise is thriving and western fast food chains are just one example of it.

China does not respect COPY WRITE and patent laws in general. These outlets are state-owned and have nothing much to do with the parent companies. There have been lots of lawsuits about this and compromises have been made.
