I ets out of Korea and have never been stationed in the States aside from basic and AIT. So I have no idea. But beer on post in Korea is much cheaper than what I'm paying here in Atlanta, Georgia. Since I still have my IRR ID I figure I get on post to buy beer. But before I waste a trip I figure I'll ask first. Is beer on post cheaper than beer you get outside. (Maybe some kind of duty exemption or something. I don't know)

Beer is about the same price on post at the Class 6, but hard liquor (rum, vodka, gin, etc), is definitely so much cheaper on post! But all of it is tax free....

For the most part I have found that beer and liquor is always cheaper at the class six than out in town.

There used to be huge savings at Class Six but the Army decided not to encourage drinking and upped the prices to bring them close to civilian prices. Save yourself the trip.
