WASHINGTON - Senators urging the passage of a bill that would legalize millions of illegal immigrants hope to revive bipartisan support for the embattled measure and push it to passage by week's end.

President Bush's team is predicting victory Tuesday on the effort to allow the bill — among the president's top domestic priorities — to go forward.
"We're optimistic," said Joel Kaplan, Bush's deputy chief of staff. "Our intelligence suggests that there will be the votes there."
Conservative critics who paint the measure as amnesty for lawbreakers, however, said their efforts to stop the legislation were gaining momentum

Yes, I am and I have written and called EVERY representative and Senator out there. Many wouldn't take my calls and NONE answered my emails and letters. They are determined to pass this horrific bill no matter what the people they represent say - hell they don't even listen. OK, but I am going to remember and no matter what good those that vote for this bill have done or will do, I will NOT ever vote for them again! Do the same!

Fool us once , fool us twice , fool us trice , fool us the fourth time , fool us the fifth time , fool us the sixth time , now tell us they were all a joke , now we need to pass the "real bill" which is # 7. How ignorant and stupid do they think we are ? They think we are that way because we have let them run wild in Washington without calling them out on any of the 1st 6 failed Illegal Immigrant Amnesty Bills over the last 21 years , why wouldn`t they think they can sneak another one by !! Anything other than a NO VOTE is unacceptable !!!

yes I know, and it really sucks man. We are getting screwed good on this one. We will feel it for a long time to come. It may be the beginning of the end to our nation. Grab your guns and dig a bunker, its on.
