How come it is hard to find anything on crimes committed by people who work in the judicial system? Is this kept hush hush because of the back lash it could cause? It seems like every time I look at CNN there is a story about some police officer or lawyer or judge who has been charged with breaking the law yet there is no info I can find when I google how much of this really goes on! I have read though that less then half of the crimes committed by these people are actually reported! I know they are human beings to but if you take that oath then you should be held to a higher standard then the general population! Because these people have the ability to ruin a persons life on a whim if they want! I know from from people that I know that work in the system and others that have been charged with B.S. (and I know it is B.S.!) because it makes they official look good even though it is at the expense of anothers life! I know there are a lot of honest ones out there but there are bad ones!

WOW! I like the defensiveness taken by a couple of people here! LOL Your right about the teachers by the way and they should also be held to higher standards too! But what I am saying is that someone who has taken an oath to up hold the LAW should automatically be held to a higher standard when it comes to breaking it!!! Because if they don't know the law then they shouldn't be enforcing it!!! I am saying that if you hold a position in any part of the judicial system and you break the law then you knowingly did it and should face harsher punishment! If this scares would be power trippers then I would rather have less of them but better ones! You think that there isn't enough and that we are struggling to get crime under control well let me enlighten you! Why do crime rates increase even though there are more and more people hired to control it? It is because they are not doing a good job and in a lot of cases actually contributing to it!!!
