I mean REALLY in charge.

Of Government, utilities, farming, law, religion, politics, commerce, security etc.etc.

It could only get better...... couldn't it?

butterball nob...I think rape and pedophilia might, in some discerning fashion, be more of a male trait. To name but two. <'j'>
So lets start with law and personal security.

continued.... quote your source for your staggeringly vague statistic of child abuse ( even though we were talking about paedophilia and rape ) and we might even give you a job in the statistical analysis department when the girls rule...

I depends on the woman. Hillary Clinton, NO. It would get much worse with her. it doesn't matter if its a man or woman. With money and power comes corruption

Do you want an honest answer? Societies with women in complete charge have only lasted for very short periods of time. So you have history against you.
Don't you like it this way where women are free to compete for leadership? Those societies which exclude women are having a tough time.

I would say no. I think you are stereotyping that women are better then men. There are some crazy chicks out there. I think we need to find some good morale people to be "in charge" and alot of good morale people don't have alot of money to run. I think we should put a cap on how much people can spend on a campaign. Every one needs to raise X-amount of dollars to run and that is it. It is not fair that rich people can spend any amount of money they want, for t.v. commercials, road trips, signs, a staff to help them out, and schmoozing money to schmooze with people to help them get a vote.

Condoleeza Rice/Maggie Thatcher/Imelda Marcos not to mention Winnie Mandela who was involved in terrorism and tried to have her hubby killed....(ANC).
NOT all women are nice and not ALL men are bad.

What you need is are less "macho" or agressive qualities.
And many men display the gentler side of life.

You should be thinking about qualities not sex of who would hold them.

I take it you subscribe to the myth that women are more nurturing and less violent than men?

You need to put that myth in the trash. Women are no better, in any discernable fashion, than men.

You sexist pig. :)
--------------------------
I call you out for your overtly sexist (and non-factual) beliefs and you insult me. Not very demonstrative of the woman as better than anybody else, eh?

Here's a fact for you to mull over: Women are responsible for the majority of child abuse. How does that square with your belief in the fiction that "women are better"?

Woman empowerment had taken place in many countries and a woman US President might confirm this dynamism in politics.

VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know if a woman will likely win.

I'm not sure it is about male or female, I think just someone in charge that concentrates on their own area rather then being in charge of the whole world.

We had that with Mrs Thatcher. Best PM in my book, and I'm not a tory. Yes she made some huge mistakes (mining, poll tax etc) but she took no crap off anyone including the US, made no hesitation in defending the Falklands, I'd rate her above Blair and Brown any day...!

Remember Margaret Thatcher. It was said that she was the only man in the Cabinet.
