A lot of planning with maximum affect or just a cowardly act? Bear in mind the US & UK navy forces fire missiles into cities from the sea killing/maiming equal, if not more, civilians than 9/11 x 10+. (this is not a question to provoke any racial hatred)

How many times have you heard a liberal call the president a monkey or a chimp? I mean, seriously libs...this is the best you got? instead of actually debating like the intellectuals you so often claim to be, you simple call bush "our chimp president". and why also a monkey or chimp? When I hear someone call Bush a chimp during a serious debate, it pretty much reminds me of why I left the party years ago and have been a happy GOPer ever since. And I'll admit, I have often called Bill Clinton a pervert. But I also had something to back that up. He really is a pervert. And I know libs will say "yeah, but Bush really is a chimp! hahahaha". Do libs really think they are making sense with these comments? Are they trying to make America dumber on purpose with their ignorant, immature, childish debating "skills"? How does a conservative even begin to debate a liberal that basis their life around using jr. high insults?

With recruiters strugging to meet their quotas, and the DoD lowering entrance requirements to accept a higher percentage of high school drop outs, is'nt it time that more rich white American republicans volunteer their kids to fight the war which they support so much?
Republicans continually lower standards for military service while increasing demands on units worldwide. With the highest number of casualties since vietnam, and the primary victims being poor, minorities and national guard troops, who don't more rich white children join to fight so we can avoid this "secret" draft. More discharged soldiers and sailors are being recalled to duty than ever before, and all at the price of an illegal war for corporate profit.

TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran's president said on Sunday the Lebanese and the Palestinians had pressed a "countdown button" to bring an end to Israel.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who triggered outrage in the West two years ago when he said Israel should be "wiped off the map", has often referred to the destruction of the Jewish state but says Iran is not a threat.

"With God's help, the countdown button for the destruction of the Zionist regime has been pushed by the hands of the children of Lebanon and Palestine," Ahmadinejad said in a speech.

Is this guy really a puppet of the CIA and working for big oil that in turn gives money to republicans and president bush?

It's starting to feel to me like Bush is doing so badly, and sliding on down the drain so quickly, that Dems could have a public orgy on Pennsylvania Avenue and still win the election.

"Only an insignificant fraction of scientists deny the global warming crisis. The time for debate is over. The science is settled."

S o said Al Gore ... in 1992. Amazingly, he made his claims despite much evidence of their falsity. A Gallup poll at the time reported that 53% of scientists actively involved in global climate research did not believe global warming had occurred; 30% weren't sure; and only 17% believed global warming had begun. Even a Greenpeace poll showed 47% of climatologists didn't think a runaway greenhouse effect was imminent; only 36% thought it possible and a mere 13% thought it probable.

Today, Al Gore is making the same claims of a scientific consensus, as do the United Nation's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and hundreds of government agencies and environmental groups around the world.

The above slogan has been around for a long time, and has been frequently used by opponents of gun control for as long as I can remember. What I want to know is who, specifically, came up with that particular slogan.

Please note that I am not asking for individuals' views on gun control. While gun control is an interesting topic, it is beyond the scope of this question. I'm only interested in the origen of the slogan.

Rather than including specific pet projects, grants and contracts in legislation as it is being written, Democrats are following an ORDER by the House Appropriations Committee chairman (Obey-D, WI) to keep the bills free of such earmarks until it is too late for critics to effectively challenge them.
