he was the son of a gatekeeper, a first world war hero, rose to be chancellor of greater germany, then rule europe, when he was banned from even having arms. it took the might of america, and the turning of the italians, and the worst russian winter in history to stop him, what a loser eh. not bad realy for an old artist.

Couldn't you say that about anybody? But how many anybodys could lead an entire nation to hell and thank him while he was doing it!

He was an excellent speaker, politically. But militarily, he couldn't find his *** with both hands and a flashlight. The world will be forever thankful that a Corporal thought he knew more than his own Generals.

Hitler was a man of his time.he offered the German people a vision for a future that was away from the degrading mess that was imposed by the Allies after the first world war.
it all went wrong because he took on too much and overstretched his forces / resources. he didn't listen to his advisors and generals and in the end lost the plot.
looking at the war as a whole , the Russians won the war ,or at least absorbed so much of the German war machine at Stalingrad , that the Germans could never recover and were always on the back foot from then on.
it would be an interesting scenario if Hitler had been assassinated around 1942/3 and the fight carried on by his generals.
the world may have been a different place

there is not any incredibly hell or heaven. i've got faith like i've got fallen down the rabbit hollow right here. Hitler replaced into defective, in simple terms like a lemon of a motor vehicle or a working laptop or computer with a undesirable motherboard. He did no longer have the main appropriate factors. in case you p.c. to take the technological expertise out of the convo, then Hitler replaced into evil for confident. he's the place everybody else is going while they die. Heaven and hell are right here in the worldwide.

I don't know, everything happens for a reason, and think of the benefits the war had (although it was a huge tragedy of course, we can't forget those that died) but people say that the war was the best times in their life, people were a community again, and they were the healthiest englishmen ever with the free nhs just bought in and the rationing and the gowing your own veg. Plus all the technological advances made, and the friendships with other countries. You got to think of peoples silver linings - yep t

You'd be suprised how much of it he did do on his own though. If not for the Second World War, he'd probably be remembered as one of the greatest statesmen in world history. A fantastic inspirational public speaker and character in his own right, his skill is shown by the manner in which he dominated world and domestic politics alike and brought the world to its knees. Shame about his ideals though. read 'Mein Kampf', its an eye opener.

Hitler's success was in his unpredictability. Granted, that was because two of the three most immediately involved major powers had their heads in the sand; France thought the Maginot Line was a good idea, Britain thought appeasement was a good idea, Russia partitioned Poland with him, but they knew deep down he was going to attack them anyway.

Hitler's strength which led to whatever successes he had because no one expected him to do the things he did, even though they were all easily predictable, and some were right in his book.

yes but he became much more, like an annoying neighbor with no discernable talents becoming the head of this country, starting a world wide war, and killing millions of people

he was awful

i heard he started on his path when he did not get into a prestigious art school

you cannot know how many times I wanted to go back in time and just LET HIM IN THAT ART SCHOOL

maybe the "monster" would not have been unleashed upon mankind

To bad he wasn't caught by the Allied Armies, tried in a court of law and sentenced to hang for his crimes. He got off the easy way, by committing suicide, the cowards way out.

That is a real fuc_ing shame!

well he had to be damm smart to go from a poor artist to chancelor of germany. the autobahn that germany has and many of germanies police and weafare systems were hitlers ideas which alot of them america adobted as well. america was not the first country to have a highway or wealfare germany was. plus to mass murder as many people that he did and almost nearly get away with it takes a smart person to do that. plus you can give hitler credit for the volkswagon beetle he desgned it look it up. and a lil info hitler killed him self in 1945 so they didnt take arms away from hitler but rather the country itself.

never forget. what he did its a constant reminder not to be bias and racist against others.

I agree with some of the answerers, you can't trivialise a mass murderer. But he was also mad enough to think he could take on most of the world for his twisted view. In that sense he wasn't so silly.

I don't condone anything he did at all! Just his mad determination.
