How many times have you heard a liberal call the president a monkey or a chimp? I mean, seriously libs...this is the best you got? instead of actually debating like the intellectuals you so often claim to be, you simple call bush "our chimp president". and why also a monkey or chimp? When I hear someone call Bush a chimp during a serious debate, it pretty much reminds me of why I left the party years ago and have been a happy GOPer ever since. And I'll admit, I have often called Bill Clinton a pervert. But I also had something to back that up. He really is a pervert. And I know libs will say "yeah, but Bush really is a chimp! hahahaha". Do libs really think they are making sense with these comments? Are they trying to make America dumber on purpose with their ignorant, immature, childish debating "skills"? How does a conservative even begin to debate a liberal that basis their life around using jr. high insults?

Oh God you are so right!!!
liberals are the slime of America
they hate being wrong, problem is they know they are and that's why they have NO arguments. Look at the candidates they have in the running for 08.......pretty pathetic, Bill's Hill hasn't got a chance in hell and Barak is too green, he doesn't have enough experience to even get voted into office! Don't worry my friend, I'm with ya!

no longer genuine that "each and every liberal" does this. besides, stupid, moron, an fool, retarded are all diverse insults, so a impressive style is offered. I do think of the guy does numerous stupid issues. i do no longer think of he does those stupid issues because of the fact he's technically stupid. this is actual because of the fact he's arrogrant, ignorant, obdurate, thinks he's conscious all, won't be able to soak up new techniques, thinks chagning one techniques is a demonstration of weak spot, etc. He additionally has an schedule this is undesirable for many in this usa and the international. He does additionally show some troubling pyschological flaws with regards to his early existence and "dry under the impression of alcohol" syndrome. incredibly, critcisms that cope together with his movements and judgements are greater intllegent than calling him names.

Both comments are seditious.

Yes, seditious is no longer illegal. It is contemptible.

I am a democrat, second, a patriot, first. I treat President Bush respectfully.

Oh, I know how to disagree, dissent, and protest, which can be VERY patriotic activities, but many people don't know the difference.

You don't.

Neither do the people you are referring to.

Name-calling is not intelligent discourse. Referring to Former President Clinton as having done something perverse is not sedition, as he did. Calling him a pervert is. Referring to him as doing something perverted when it is only a rumor with no proof (I mean court proof) is seditious.

Referring to President Bush as a chimp is seditious. Saying his face reminds you of a chimp is not.

Neither one has anything to do with patriotism.

A patriot wouldn't even talk about such things. They'd concentrate on the issues.

I bet you've heard this quote before:
“Any 20 year-old who isn't a liberal doesn't have a heart, and any 40 year-old who isn't a conservative doesn't have a brain.”

The immature 20-year-old is idealistic & thinks that government should solve all the problems of poverty and lack of education, and become tolerant of all people, whether or not they want to kill, cheat or steal. Well the ones who are insulting, are immature 20 somethings.

Now, I'm not saying all 20-something people are immature. Some understand far beyond their years. There is a growing "Young Conservative" movement which attracts principled, thinking collegiates who strive to do the right thing!

When a person becomes a mature adult, 1) they get a good job & don't want to give their well earned money for taxes to a socialist-democrat,
2) they want the best for their family by imparting values which actually help family life, and
3) know enough about life to understand that Democrats disdain individual freedom...wanting big government to "take care of" everyone.

This is why immature liberals are not quite grown up enough to understand REAL life.

"A wise man's heart directs him toward the right, but the foolish man's heart directs him towards the left."

I'm a liberal, I don't like Bush or what his administration has done, but I wouldn't stoop so slow as to call him a chimp nor do I resort to namecalling. I do read a lot of "lieberal" and "libtard" and "libturd" comments on Y/A. Seems to me the cons are just as guilty if not more so.

I have found that Republicans are not smart enough for any debate of real facts. All they have is what they hear Rush or FOX news say. They never have any real facts. BTW, Bush has ran up a $9 trillion debt and you think that's good. Bush and the Republicans in Congress are all idiots. It's not about Insults. It's about talking to them like children they have no clue about what real life is about..

I think these examples show the gamut of conservative talking points for the most part: Lieberals, moonbats, libtards, hildabeast, etc. There's a never ending list of these really mature words they call liberals. How on earth have you missed these gems? Or don't they count?

I see plenty of this behavior from both sides of the aisle. As a point, I seem to remember plenty of GOPers carrying flip-flops, wearing flip-flop costumes and so on during during the 2004 election season, which was extremely immature behavior. So, do you have some sort of statistics to back up your claim? Otherwise, I'm going to just assume that you are just pointing fingers.

Sorry, Matt. I try to use mature insults, lol.

Personally, I'd much prefer to forgo the insult thing altogether and communicate like adults.

Silly me, eh?

There was - some time ago a side-by-side picture of Mr Bush and a chimp in similar gestures. I guess that image stuck.

If immature insults of the opposite party made you leave the Democrat party years ago, do you feel that's a well thought out and mature reason to leave?
