Take them home with you when you have to leave .
Thats not the way to become a legal citizen .
Using the child as a lever to seek citizenship is wrong and won't work .
It's your choice , as parents .

ly want me to believe that you wouldn't run the border for a better life too? I would, in a heartbeat. Who in their right mind wouldn't? Lets see. On the other side of that line in the sand over there I can get work, medicine, security, my kids can have an education, but here I can't. WHat to do?!! You compassionless people make me sick. And don't give me any crap about staying and making it better. You inherited your country just like they did. You didn't make our country great, our forfathers did! And they were immigrants!

Hugo Chavez, who was re-elected as president of Venezuela by a wide margin last month, has said he will enact sweeping reforms to remake Venezuela into a socialist state. Among his plans are nationalizing the main telecommunications company and the electricity and natural gas sectors. He also said he will tax the rich by enacting taxes on luxury automobiles, private yachts, and second homes, and use the money for government social programs.

Sounds like the bunch we just put in Congress here in this country. Wait a year or two. You will see the resemblance. -- Rod Hefner

It is now apparent that plenty of information was circulating in the CIA that no weapons of mass destruction were being developed by Iraq that were a serious threat to America, so, why all the smoke and mirrors?

Bush got on TV and said "I take full responsibility" for the failed response by FEMA to Hurricane Katrina...You all saw him...he said it himself.
...1,600 people died, thousands remain homeless.

If you or I took "full responsibiltiy" for 1,600 negligent homicides we'd probably go to jail for years or otherwise pay some kind of penalty.

What was Bush's punishment?

Snow: Tenet claims nothing new
By UPI Staff
United Press International
May 1, 2007

WASHINGTON (UPI) -- White House spokesman Tony Snow said Monday he doesn't see what all the fuss is about in relation to George Tenet's new book, "At the Center of the Storm."

The former CIA director said in a "60 Minutes" interview broadcast Sunday the U.S. spy agency never could verify there was any Iraqi complicity in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on New York and Washington.

"The president's been saying exactly that all along. So I don't know what the headline is," Snow said on "Good Morning America" in his first appearance since undergoing liver cancer surgery. "As a matter of fact, I can remember right after Sept. 11 sitting here when I was a journalist ... The fact is, the president made it clear before the State of the Union in 2002 that there was no link between Saddam Hussein and Sept. 11.

"So, I'm afraid what's happened there is that George Tenet may have been referring to something that has been misreported or at least twisted by people who may have political motives in recent years. But, there's been no attempt to try to link Saddam to Sept. 11."

Here's the situation...My father gave me permission to drive his car a couple of weeks ago, and it was stolen during the time that I had it. On the initial police report I filed that night, I was not entirely truthful about certain details. They recovered the vehicle, have the guy in custody, and want me to go down and "answer some more questions" since they don't believe my story. I was not involved in the theft, obviously, but I am facing a perjury charge for lying to the police. Now, they are holding my father's car hostage, saying they will not release it until I go down there. I talked to my attorney, who said that he does not want me having any more contact with the police (they are PA State Police), and definitely not going down there to "answer some questions." Meanwhile, my dad needs his car back so he can stop paying for the rental that he has...Do they have the authority to hold his car like this? It almost seems like ransom...Please help.

We have an on going law suit that is on a Non-Contingency basis. We have paid out over $8,000.00 over 5 years. Can the attorney get himself dismissed from the case for lack of funds? Lending legal companies won't fund unless on a contingency basis with the firm. One lending company told us that they thought the Defendants weren't viable if collection became necessary yet, one Defendant has offices throughout Canada and the U.S. The other Defendant has offices throughout the U.S. and Europe. We have an Affidavit stating that we could have done in the 8 digit figure in revenue which we lost due to the Defendant's actions. We have Libel, Breach of Contract and various torts. Discovery and Depositions have been completed. Now into the Damage phase but the expert needs a $5,000.00 retainer. The Defendants motion to dismiss has been denied. Now the attorney needs funds to continue and the "well-is-dry". Can he get dismissed..?

or didn't get enough, or at a high interest rate? Clinton tried to prevent the student loan industry scandal that has screwed thousands of students, but Bush came in and killed the fix. Thanks again Republicans!

Warnings On Student Lenders Unheeded

The Bush administration killed a proposal to clamp down on the student loan industry six years ago following allegations that companies sought to shower universities with financial favors to help generate business, according to documents and interviews with government officials.

The proposed policy, which Education Department officials drafted near the end of the Clinton presidency and circulated at the start of the Bush administration, represented an early, significant but ultimately abortive government response to a problem that this year has grown into a major controversy.

After all, it's just sex, and everyone lies about sex - or at least that's what the DEMS told us.

A politician shouldn't lose his job over a bj, right?

(what's interesting is that the dem responses are going to be along the lines of "repubs claim to be moral, so they should resign, but dems don't claim to be moral, so this kind of behavior is okay." Not those exact words, but that will be the response.).

They have increased border patrol to 250 more guards, plus added helicopters, cameras, etc. and still haven't made a dent on illegal crossings at the border. It's like the old saying: "Every time you make a better mouse trap, the mice get smarter." Shouldn't we then consider supporting a guest worker program so they can come here for a specified amount of time, save their money, pay their fare share of taxes & then go home once their time is up?

Constantly posting stupid questions isn't going to help this nation out, and only works toward more division, more rivalry, more blue vs. red b.s. Why not instead of asking "why Liberals worship Stalin" or "why Conservatives are mindless drones," why don't we open up and realize that everyone, left and right, simply wants what is best for this country, and that for us to accomplish anything as a nation we must work as one, and that pandering to our respective ideologues with offensive, vindictive speech will not get us anywhere?
