After all, it's just sex, and everyone lies about sex - or at least that's what the DEMS told us.
A politician shouldn't lose his job over a bj, right?
(what's interesting is that the dem responses are going to be along the lines of "repubs claim to be moral, so they should resign, but dems don't claim to be moral, so this kind of behavior is okay." Not those exact words, but that will be the response.).

So if repubs do it, it's bad b/c they said they wouldn't do it, but if dems do it, it's NOT bad b/c they didn't say they wouldn't do it?

Oh boy! Magma fell right into that one! When did we (republicans) declare that we were without sin? Sex was not the issue with Clinton. Kennedy was a womanizer but that was never an issue either. Who they have sex with and where they have sex, and when they have sex could be a problem.
If this was your boss at work, and he had sex with an employee on his desk during work hours, that could get him fired. If he has sex with a hooker off the clock in a hotel, that's his business. Or should be.
For the record, Clinton was inpeached for lying under oath, not for having sex.

If they did nothing to be ashamed of then they should not be scared. The issue is, however, for those pontificating, duplicitous, " I am holier than thou", "butter can't melt in my mouth" Republicans. I don't think they should resign their jobs because of this. It will just take them down a peg or so. It will be a stark reminder to them that "if you live in a glass house, don't throw stones."
I bet we will be rollng on the floor laughing when we find out who some of the hypocrites are. This also goes for any duplicitous Dems out there.
I can say this much. Some of those who sat on their high horses during the Clinton blowj*b impeachment crap could probably be ensnared in this madame's net. It will interesting to watch. This is where their problem lies. If they were avaling themselves of the madame's personnels' charms while screaming about the blowj*b, oooh boy talk about two faced.

Actually, it is a matter of votes more than anything else. It's the neo-con votes that they will lose that scares politicians.
And you are right - I am highly amused by this situation: republicans claimed such moral high grounds that they went after Clinton for something as irrelevant as a BJ. But where did that moral high ground go when it came to this? I amuse myself because it's called HYPOCRISY.

In America you don't get impeached for cheating on your wife. You get impeached for lying about it under oath.
Politicians aren't held up to any moral standard anymore. People don't care. Neither do politicians. Clinton proved that.

Yes, it does make a difference when a party puts itself up on a pedestal and says "we are the moral ones, vote for us". Employing prostitutes is illegal in and of itself. Clinton's affair was not.

LOL....coz too many will be caught with their pants down. They should be charged like any other citizen. Just because they're working for the government shouldn't make them exempt from their actions. It's still not ok as long as you don't get caught. Whether it be from a legal standpoint or moral one.

Yes, but you Republicans have been saying how righteous and how wholesome you Neocons are.
But the book is going to illuminate your hypocrisy with greater clarity.
That's poetic justice, sir.
