No, they don't. How can I say this? Because if they DID then the employer would have to pay into it, and there is proof time and time again that they don't. I lived right across from an illegal alien house and they LOST the house because they neglected to pay county taxes. First hand experience. Not to mention that I have seen time and time again the illegals think it is OK to STEAL from others. NOW do you see why we don't want illegal aliens here AT ALL!!!

Ollie, ever hear of doing it legally? It is a serious question. There is not ANY comparison between ILLEGAL aliens and LEGAL immigrants. The illegal aliens put the USA in a difficult position ever single time that they cross. They bring TB and Hepatitis as well as put stress on our economy. If they want to have a better life then they figure it out AT HOME NOT HERE! They should be protesting DOWN IN THEIR HOME COUNTRY, not here. If they want to come here, do it legally and get a clean bill of health and positive that they don't have a criminal history then fine. Until then they need to stay put.

Mendi, are you saying that ID theft is OK? I personally have had my ID stolen, so I take offense to even the suggestion that it IS Ok...Untill you have it happen to you, you don't have any idea about how awful it is! Or how hard it is to come out of it!

STRIVE...they may have a few numbers, but I guaranty that the illegal aliens don't pay taxes. I SAW IT WITH MY OWN EYES WITH MANY ILLEGAL ALIENS WHICH I HAVE CAME ACROSS! I believe WHAT I see before spouting off from a government page where people want the illegal aliens here so they can further the North American Union.

About half do according to a Florida study. Remember that about 40% of our illegals are visa overstayers who received SS numbers and may even be using their own. However, they are mostly too poor to pay enough in taxes to cover even their children's education at $10,000 per child per year, much less for the other services they use. That is why we and every other country in the world that subsidizes services for their poor limit how many poor immigrants can come.

Their better life is at our expense and is ruining our children's schools.

For those who use phony ID's tax is most likely taken out and from those who use the tin# or whatever it's called. The majority of the low wage earners could claim enough exemptions to not have to pay in and many work under the table. There's also relatives (Legal) claiming the children (anchor babies) to get the earned income credit who are legal even though the actual parent (illegal) may be working to support them. There are many who are supplimenting their income with odd jobs and aren't claiming the income or claiming to be a business even though they may have steady clients. Not to mention the host of illegal jobs they do and get a great amount of money for....drugs, smuggling, dog fights, pawning of stolen goods, flea markets, etc. and aren't taxed on. I've known some who do nails at home and basicly run a business out of their home with no qualifications, licensing, inspections, nothing the rest of us has to do.
They certainly pay sales tax but that's the only for sure tax I can think of. That of course depends on the state. Without a doubt costing far more than what they are contributing.

Of course they can pay taxes, and legally... next time you post a question like this and contradict people that actually know their stuff, look up the facts.

Illegal immigrants use what is called an An Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) is a tax processing number issued by the Internal Revenue Service. The
IRS issues ITINs to individuals who are required to have a U.S. taxpayer identification number but who do not have, and are not eligible to obtain a Social Security Number . ITINs are issued regardless of immigration status because both resident and nonresident aliens may have U.S. tax return and payment responsibilities under the Internal Revenue Code.
Examples of individuals who need ITINs include:

Non-resident alien filing a U.S. tax return and not eligible for an SSN
U.S. resident alien (based on days present in the United States) filing a U.S. tax return and not eligible for an SSN
Dependent or spouse of a U.S. citizen/resident alien
Dependent or spouse of a non-resident alien visa holder

Now if you would like to further educate yourself please look it up...

HERA- You saw a couple of illegal immigrants not paying taxes and assume that all of them dont. Well I saw a couple of legal citizens not paying taxes and therefore their checks were being garnished, does that mean you dont pay taxes? Once again before you post an uneducated answer and contradict those who know their stuff do a little research illegal immigrants pay taxes, and even if they dont use those "few numbers as you said" and use a fake social security number taxes are still being withheld from their checks and you know the difference between them and you is that they will never see a % of that money back, but you however will think of every trick in the book to get a big tax refund...

Most illegal aliens do not pay any income taxes at all, they work for cash.

A small percentage of illegal aliens are paying income taxes but no FICA, no social security, etc.... by use of a legal tax number. When the US IRS is required to turn these records over to the ICE, records of these illegal aliens will be available for Immigration Control and Enforcement to use, in order to deport illegal aliens, who are in violation of United States federal laws, by entering the USA illegally, living in the USA illegally and working in the USA illegally.

In response to those who say "they use other peoples social security numbers". THAT is a crime, the worst kind of crime, a FELONY, for which the punishment is a $250,000.00 fine and 25 years in federal prison, after which illegal aliens are deported, with a felony on their record, and are never allowed to enter the USA legally, never allowed to become a legal resident, or a legal US citizen for the rest of their lives.
If you know someone who is using any social security number which was "made up", "belongs to someone else", "borrowed", "imaginary", "bought", or gotten by use of false ID, forged ID, "borrowed" ID, "bought ID", or ID "belonging to someone else", they are using a STOLEN social security number, they are committing a FELONY, and they need to stop before they are arrested. IT IS A SERIOUS CRIME.

I am a legal immigrant. I pay taxes, tens of thousands of dollars of taxes.

First, illegals do not pay income tax, FICA or unemployment taxes as they are paid cash in hand. However, they do get the benefits.

Second, it is alright to come here for a better life but it should be done legally and you should meet your responsibilities as a member of society. You should not commit a crime, illegal immigration is a crime, and then take all the benefits but not meet any of the commitments. It is not making a better life, it is sponging off society by a bunch of parasites.

You're on a roll today, lol. The sales taxes they pay aren't enough. It doesn't come anywhere near the costs that the gov't is paying out from my tax dollars. Considering the low wages they earn, I highly doubt that they come anywhere close to the thousands I pay a year, between property, income, per capita, social security, medicare, school tax, etc. PLUS sales tax. If they have fake numbers, I guess they're paying something in, but its still not right.

The senate has voted to extend Social security benefits to illegals. The system is already crippled since Bill Clinton placed all the funds available to the government.
So go out and work your A***** off so we can support all the people that havent paid a dime and those that are drawing bogus disability.
God Bless America!

No because they have to work off the books meaning illegally and their pay isnt documented. Hoever, US tax payers pay their way through family entral, welfare, food stamps, cheap housing, free medical, ect ect ect but get some of us tax payers who need a boost here and there and forget it! Were denied! And maybe, just maybe, some of these ppl I speka of would be able to do it all if they were supporting those who dont pay taxes.
