Snow: Tenet claims nothing new

WASHINGTON (UPI) -- White House spokesman Tony Snow said Monday he doesn't see what all the fuss is about in relation to George Tenet's new book, "At the Center of the Storm."

The former CIA director said in a "60 Minutes" interview broadcast Sunday the U.S. spy agency never could verify there was any Iraqi complicity in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on New York and Washington.

"The president's been saying exactly that all along. So I don't know what the headline is," Snow said on "Good Morning America" in his first appearance since undergoing liver cancer surgery. "As a matter of fact, I can remember right after Sept. 11 sitting here when I was a journalist ... The fact is, the president made it clear before the State of the Union in 2002 that there was no link between Saddam Hussein and Sept. 11.

"So, I'm afraid what's happened there is that George Tenet may have been referring to something that has been misreported or at least twisted by people who may have political motives in recent years. But, there's been no attempt to try to link Saddam to Sept. 11."

What a land of opportunity we have when you can be a failure in washington like him and Al Gore, then just merely write books and make movies to smear the people in current leadership and you have an instant liberal audience for that garbage.

I agree about the whining tone in Tenet's voice. Tony Snow, however is absolutely lying about Saddam Hussein and 9/11. The administration consistently. for years, conflated the two. Tune in tonight to the Daily Show or Olbermann, and you will undoubtedly see clips of Cheney, Bush, Rumsfeld and others tying Saddam Hussein to 9/11 and Al Qaeda.

Tenet was a Clinton holdover and in Clintonesque fashion, "He was for the war, before he was against it" and in typical liberal fashion, his view changed with the polling data and not the facts.

In my view, there are a bunch of people that need to be brought of charges of aiding and abetting the enemy.

Fact, we are at war with islamic radicals. The cost of not executing this war is anarchy in the streets of the US. If people don't want to believe this they will continue to look at the world with the ostrich mentality and sticking their heads in the sand.

We need to wake up to some world realities:

Islam in it's self is innocuous as are most religions. In the teachings of the Koran as professed is that Sharia is the law they adhere too, Sharia law is a 8th century remnant that goes against societal norms. The "fanatical islamo-fascists" bent on world destruction believe that through Jihad the Messiah will come. Well, that said, people are people, I think a person can believe what they wish as long as their belief does not inhibit my ability to believe what I choose.

Islam has three tenants for dealing with non-muslims, Convert to islam, tax and enslave, or kill. While the majority of muslims don't feel this doctrine is valid, the islamo-fascists that are soon to enplace Sharia in Europe with have countless infidels to deal with..

I would recommend some reading before you give islam a pass, read Robert Spencer's book "The Political Incorrect Guide to Islam" and also see if you can get a copy of the DVD "Obsession" which is a very good documentary of radical islam and a must see for anyone who questions why some muslims are creating a very dangerous situation for this planet.

I've known people of all faiths, from Jew, Muslim, Christian Buddhist, Hindu, Wiccan, and each one have the view that their religion is the "only" correct one and "if only" people would see what they see the world would be a better place..

Here is a link to a must read article that is a glimpse of the future regarding Islam. It is a must read.. it's long but well worth the time.

What baffles me is that the supposed "peaceful" muslims and their clerics don't condemn these radicals for fear of reprisal, guess what by denying a problem exists won't make it go away. Muslim radicals killed 3000+ people in NYC and DC on 9/11/01, in my opinion the was is not on Terror, we need to call it what it is, you can't fight an ideology, you need to fight an enemy, radicals are the enemy, the direction their clerics preach is a global sharia under a new Caliphate (muslim pope)..

Do a google on Sharia, you will find many of the same things as you'd find in the Old testament book of Leviticus, while these "laws" were fine and dandy 2000 years ago, the social implications are not valid today.

the disease of DENIAL kills more people every year than any other disease. It isn't just that it kills more people every year; it also maims, cripples, disables, and incapacitates more people and those close to them, than anything else.

Denial is the greatest stumbling block anyone can have. Denying that anything is wrong, making excuses, being a victim, and accepting the status quo will never move us towards a better life. We are either moving forwards or sliding backwards, there is no middle ground.

Denial will always cause us to slide backwards and create a downward spiral. To get beyond denial, it is required that you conduct an honest evaluation of where you are and how you got there. If you want to know what your choices have been, concerning life up to this point, take a good look at where you are at today.

Clearly Tony Snow is a liar. Anyone with half a brain can remember back to Cheney making the rounds of Sunday morning talk shows trying to link Iraq and 9-11 in the minds of the weak.

As a Christian it does to me too yet this is not any longer how the Bible describes heaven. it incredibly is how people who're unaware of God's be conscious describe it. in case you're somewhat interested in what heaven would be like, then i opt to recommend which you get a replica of the e book titled "Heaven" by using Randy Alcorn. this is the main real e book ever written on the undertaking in accordance to scripture. you would be surprised at how little you knew approximately heaven.

Well certainly George Bush loved his "whining" and his work enough to give him a Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Tenet is just sore that he's no longer part of Bush and his gang of bullies.

No, it doesn't sound like whining, it sounds like another gear coming off the self-destructing white house machinery.

George Tenet is an idiot and a liar. I saw him on 'Larry King Live' last night-who does he think he's kidding when he says,
'but Larry...we DON'T torture prisoners!". Yuk Yuk......Cheney even admitted it's necessary to derive info from them.
I'm against it !

Why don't you go out and buy the book and then form an opinion for yourself?
