ly want me to believe that you wouldn't run the border for a better life too? I would, in a heartbeat. Who in their right mind wouldn't? Lets see. On the other side of that line in the sand over there I can get work, medicine, security, my kids can have an education, but here I can't. WHat to do?!! You compassionless people make me sick. And don't give me any crap about staying and making it better. You inherited your country just like they did. You didn't make our country great, our forfathers did! And they were immigrants!

Ask a legal immigrant this question, and see what the answer is. I have a very good friend that became a US citizen a few years back, after being here for years with a legal Visa, and she is the most vocal opponent of illegal immigration, because she did it right. Sure, it's not easy, but that's the point- she wants to be an AMERICAN CITIZEN, she doesn't just want to use our resources (read: steal) and make money only to send it back to some other country.

Illegals fail to pay taxes to support the infrastructure that supports them, demand free health care, education, transportation, police protection etc, and in return they do not want to assimilate at all, instead they fly their home country's flag, refuse to speak the local and accepted national language and push their culture on Americans.

ILLEGAL = CRIMINAL

IT'S NOT OKAY

You say this, but there are so many countries even poorer than Mexico, and we're not letting them come here illegally. Our forefathers were legal immigrants who made laws to proctect the legal citizens of this country. Illegal immigration is putting a burden on us. Why should that be allowed.

If immigrants would come legally they'd have all the rights as we do.

My forefathers did help to make this country great, and us current citizens and legal immigrants are doing everything we can to KEEP it great. I was raised to be honest and law abiding - I would never "run the border" of any country. If I felt my life was in danger, I'd head to an embassy or consulate and seek asylum, but I'd NEVER just push myself into another society against the laws. Honestly. Yes there are laws, but they aren't meant to be mean to immigrants, they are actually there to protect immigrants and citizens. Naturalization laws are called for in the U.S. Constitution, the keystone of our country and government. I happen to have extended family that has been waiting over 3 years now for entry to the U.S. - and they don't mind waiting, because they are good, law abiding people, and want to have a better life the RIGHT way.

Americans made and continue to make this nation great. Not illegal aliens.

I live in Arizona and all they have to do is walk across the border and they are here.
Its not a line in the sand its a nations borders. Just as ALL nations have borders . Do you know what happens to Illegal Aliens in Mexico ? Yeah I didn't think so. ..I didn't inherit ,my ancestors built this nation and I continue on their work just as all legal Americans do.

Legal immigration IS NOT the problem. Its ILLEGAL ALIENS ...

Do you think that ALL the progress and improvements to this nation were only done by our ancestors. Every generation of legal Americans has improved this country.

This is reality, the TRUTH not rhetoric and pro illegal BS .

Over 1,000,000 people immigrate to the United States each year LEGALLY. So, it's less complicated than becoming a brain surgeon. My wife's family immigrated here LEGALLY. She's got family members who have been waiting for 15 years to LEGALLY come here. They've got about 7 more years to wait.

Medicine other people are paying for, security you are breaching, education belonging to other children which you will be overcrowding and causing to fail for those who have a right to be here....

If you would do all that, illegally, you deserve to be deported.

Bank robbers want a better life too. However, with illegal immigrants their better life is at our expense and at the expense of our children's future. Their children are NOT more important than our own.

So, it's our law. Respect our laws and you are welcome. Do you know Mexico's immigration laws towards Central America, look it up. No one has said they are against immigrants, only illegal immigrants. Those that are illegal take billions in social services and raise our taxes. Remember those from Europe coming into Ellis Island?, they were accounted for and those sick were quarantined. That's the difference. If we allow illegal aliens to break our laws and let them go, then we must let other criminal go. Why not go after Mexico for not caring about it's citizens. Why is it up to us to do that.? Illegal aliens, go home!!!!!!

Loyalty Day is observed on May 1 in the United States. It is a day set aside for the reaffirmation of loyalty to the United States and for the recognition of the heritage of American freedom.

What gives these protesters, unless they are citizens, the right to protest in our country?
Some carrying flags of their country.

How is that being loyal to the United States of America?

Go protest in YOUR country !!!!!

Loyalty Day is defined as follows in 36 U.S.C. § 115:

(a) Designation.— May 1 is Loyalty Day.
(b) Purpose.— Loyalty Day is a special day for the reaffirmation of loyalty to the United States and for the recognition of the heritage of American freedom.

(2) inviting the people of the United States to observe Loyalty Day with appropriate ceremonies in schools and other suitable places.

I think that illegal immigrants came over to find a better life for themselves and their families. I personally work and know several and none of them are out to take my job. They are honest hard working people. We should not complain that they are coming over here to take our jobs or to take food away from our tables. I figure, the only way we can begin to say that is when we don't have Citizens preferring to go on Welfare (by the way....people on Welfare take more food away from our tables and money from our pockets because those of us that actually work have to pay for them) rather than work as a janitor, construction worker, dish washer, etc. America is a country founded on Immigration, and NEWS FLASH they all technically came over here illegally one way or another. These "Illegals" in some way are here doing the same, escaping oppression and famine. So, enough with the "Illegal" bashing and I suggest that if you look back far enough in your family tree someone got in somewhere illegally too. SO GET OVER IT, and GET TO WORK. DON'T SIT ON YOUR *** ALLOWING OTHER PEOPLE TAKE A JOB YOU WANT OR NEED. If you don't work for it don't blame other people who did for your laziness.

since you seem to be our judge and jury, i suggest since we are compassionless as you say. .you adopt about 50 illegals and give them everything you have.. bust your a.s.s. day in and day out... and just hand it over to them.... let us know how long you enjoy doing that will ya ...... ohhhh... and yes we do make our country great.. every single minute of every single day.. we work, we pay taxes to keep this country going.. we provide for our children, we educate them, we protect them... we teach them love this country and all she stands for. if you don't do that for yours you are on your own on that one ..
