Constantly posting stupid questions isn't going to help this nation out, and only works toward more division, more rivalry, more blue vs. red b.s. Why not instead of asking "why Liberals worship Stalin" or "why Conservatives are mindless drones," why don't we open up and realize that everyone, left and right, simply wants what is best for this country, and that for us to accomplish anything as a nation we must work as one, and that pandering to our respective ideologues with offensive, vindictive speech will not get us anywhere?

I don't think anybody here is trying to save the world or even unite the country. (If they are, they are in the wrong place.) This is simply entertainment and a place to vent anger about the other side.

Whoa! Grab the reins!...
We know you are new to these submissions, and I agree with your premise, but you conclusion is faulty.
Sorry to say sometimes, but this IS the thinking community.
Whatever opinion is being expressed, regardless of what you think of it, is at the very least a line of communication that is VITAL and FUNDAMENTAL to any hope for successful mutual understanding, respect and cooperation.
I know this is not the U.N. (not that I'm throwing that entity any kudos), but war, hate, killing, bigotry are derived (simplistically) from fear, pain, ignorance and greed.
Any venue that allows communication is a good venue.
Knowledge is shared, issues discussed, understanding has potential.
Also, I have had the pleasure of knowing some of my knowledge has been of use and helped some people in this community.
And I have likewise received help back.
Please use your knowledge in a positive way - it's the only way to make a difference.
Don't let frustration keep you from trying at all.
That's when we all lose.

I concur completely, although some would say I have a bias in my questions, but they are legitimate questions and answers, not rants.
It will hopefully interest you to know that a fair amount of those posters who are posting the hate bush lines are not AMericans and are not even located in America. This makes me wonder why are they doing it. Considering quite a few are from India it could be that the DNC has outsourced its paid political posters.

I agree that everyone here wants what's best for this country and the world, but everyone has different ideas about how to go about getting it. I think, though, that the reason why a lot of people here post insulting questions and answers is just so they can vent.

Are you a mindless drone or do you worship Stalin?
It is really no big deal. This is not the place for intellectual debate anyway.
